This is a great spot if you want to be close to the action. Shops, restaurants, bars close by. Surfer's beach is a stones throw from the resort. Staff is great...lovely Canadians at reception. This is a three star resort so some rooms have a tiny bit of wear but the value is right. You could go down the road too...

Booked a 'garden-view' room which didn't really look onto anything. The rooms were very average, dirty and instead of a queen bed we got two singles pushed together... I hate that. The location of the hotel was the driving force towards us booking this place as we figured even if it wasn't that flash we were going to be out...

Hi Timmy, Thanks for taking the time to review our Resort, although it is a little disappointing that you waited 9 months to give your feedback. I have no doubt that there were issues with the room in February. Feedback like this has been addressed many times back then and our new management team have worked very hard to improve...

Stayed here for 5 nights, we loved it here close to shops and not far from theme park by car. Pool was amazing and never busy. Room was a great size and kitchen had everything we needed. we had a river view from the deck which was lovely to sit out there and eat or get a sun tan.

The rooms were basic but Clean and Tidy, situated in a Great location, friendly front desk service, and priced well!!! If you stay less than 8 nights your room doesn't get serviced, so would pay to take a bath towel and extra toilet paper. With a nice spa to relax in the evening and a pool to dip into made...

Had a great weekend in the Gold Coast. Staff at the resort were really welcoming and helpful. We checked out local scene and all the hotspots they recommended. They were fantastic. Our room was good and had everything we needed. It was good value for money. The resort had a pool, gym, tennis court too.

I stayed in a studio apartment for 3 nights. It was clean and tidy and had everything I needed and it suited me just fine. It had a small fridge, microwave, kettle and some crockery & cutlery. I was on the Gold Coast for work and on my own but there was more than enough room for 2 people and...

Thanks DSB for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Our studio apartments are perfect for a short stay for one or 2 people (we can fit one extra rollaway for kids if required). There's no cooking facilities in the rooms (just the basics you mentioned), but we're such a short walk to restaurants that it doesn't...

Place looks like it could do with a bit of a face lift. Although it does appear they are in the process of that. Room was neat and tidy, close to most things, but the main thing was it was well within our budget. Would have liked free wifi.

Hi Walkersland, Thanks for your 5/5 review of our Resort. We certainly do hope to provide good value for money, and you're right, we could do with a bit of a face lift. The good news is that is already happening. We recently completed the painting of all of the interior common areas of the Resort (corridors, doors and lobby),...

Paradise Island Resort has a four star location and a two and a half accommodation. Our check-in was cordial and efficient and all was well until we opened the door to our room on the first floor. Whilst the cleanliness of the unit was OK we found non matching furnishings, non matching cutlery and crockery. The lounge was extremely tired...

Hi Robert, Thanks for a very honest review. Yes, unfortunately a couple of our rooms are a bit tired. With the rooms being independently owned it can be a battle sometimes to get owners to spend money updating their properties. We have been working very hard since December to get the message across to all owners that we need to...
