Lovely old Queenslander which was constructed that way to take advantage of breezes and air circulation. Unfortunately when you leave doors and windows open, flies tend to invite themselves in. Not a problem in the bedroom if you keep the door closed. Also the bedroom temperature was comfortable because it had it's own a/c unit. A couple of fans at...

It is , as explained unfortunate that Townsville has got water restrictions at the moment and the spa is not on. With respect to servicing ,usually guests that only stay for two nights are more than happy to ask for anything that they require . Classique is about experiencing life in an old Queenslander home and yes we also run...

We had a nice 1 night stop here to break up a long drive. Having been out for some dinner we had a lovely evening to ourselves just playing pool & darts in the communal living area. The aircon in the room was much needed & worked brilliantly and, as everyone has said, the tropical fruit breakfast was a perfect...

We are repeat customers. Last time we had the Pearl room this time the Gold was offered. Russell is a great host and the fruit breakfast fantastic! This restored timber house has many spaces to sit and relax.

Russell was a wonderful and polite host. He makes a lovely breakfast of local fruits and food, and fresh coffee. There is a lovely billiard table, and an old style classic QLD cottage. We enjoyed the company of the fellow guests at breakfast.

We stayed in this spectacular Queenslander for two nights & enjoyed every minute of it. We were greeted by Russell & the offer of a complimentary drink & shown around the beautiful house. Our room (Ruby room) was classic, clean & a pleasure to stay in. Breakfast was an absolute highlight - a huge platter of tropical fruit plus cereal,...

Stayed here for a couple of nights on our way through Queensland. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return. Russell looked after us really well suggesting restaurants and attractions as well as serving us a fantastic breakfast with a beautiful platter of tropical fruits in addition to cereals and toast. Russell and his wonderful breakfasts really made the stay worthwhile! He is a sweet gentleman with a lot of great local advice to offer. His morning fruit plate is outstanding - all perfectly ripe, fresh tropical fruits of many varieties - and especially nicely served out on the back deck with a view of Castle Hill. The complimentary port at...

Thank you for your review, I do believe that you came at the hottest time of year and of course you stayed in a Queenslander without air-con throughout the whole home but you are right its also a good excuse to come back another time.

We stayed in this lovely Queensland bed and breakfast on our travels in Australia. We had the larger room which was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower, it was spotlessly clean. What a fantastic experience given by the proprietor Russell. The building oozes quality from a time that has been all but forgotten.
