I spent just 1 night in this retreat (I wish I had booked for more nights) with my boyfriend. Everything was included as part of 2days/1night trip with The Discovery Group. The room was huge and really clean and luckily there was no carpet but timber floor. The toilets were in common but they were perfectly clean and brand new.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights to discover Fraser Island for the first time. The 3 of us really did have a great time exploring the area and staying in this resort made our short vacation even better! The cabin was spacious with a lot of lights coming through the many windows. The bbq area provides a nice spot to... More

Stayed as part of a trip through The Discovery Group/G Adventures. My room was beautiful - wood floors, spacious, airy, full of windows. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and it was quiet and peaceful. Outdoor areas are just as lovely as the rooms.

I was on the same girls weekend that Hayley was on, and couldn't fault the retreat one bit! There were 5 girls and our room had 2 single beds and 2 double beds, one in separate room, which would be perfect for families as well! The drinks at the bar were a bit pricey, but we mostly sat on our... More

We had lunch there and expected average quality and high prices given how remote this place is. We were amazed that the prices were some of the most reasonable we'd seen across Australia, the food was very good (way above average) and the portions were huge. To top it, service was nice, friendly. A really pleasant surprise.

We came for a one night stay to Fraser - group of 5 ladies. Fraser Island Retreat was comfortable and the room was clean. Our cabin was at the top of a hill and had a nice little verandah to chill on. The staff were very friendly and accommodating which was the stand out. Food is reasonably priced, seafood needs... Our group of 4 couples enjoyed a great 4 day adventure at this eco-friendly resort. Set in the bush and beside the beach makes for a magic location. The accommodation was good and there were a choice of 3 restaurants offering a variety of meals. Prices were a little pricey but maybe to be expected at a remote location. We... More

Fraser Island is such a unique location - and remote. Fraser Island Retreat is in Happy Valley, which is half way up Seventeen Mile Beach (stunning!) between the main Barge landing point from Rainbow Beach and Indian Point. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We were in a quad share room with had two singles and a queen bed. The... More

Stayed in and enjoyed every minute. The staff were very informative and welcoming. The cabins ( two bedroom) was basic as expected and this is what we were looking for. The camp kitchen is clean and well maintained. The pool is a good extra. We did not eat in the bistro , but had a good time in the evening... More

After staying in hostels this lovely resort was such a welcomed break. It was very relaxing and comfortable. We stayed here as part of the discovery group tour of Fraser Island with our excellent guide Edward! Wish we could have stayed here for more than one night! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for good quality accommodation on... More
