We did not stay at the hotel as we had booked down the road. However we used the Satinay Restaurant and bar also the general store and petrol supplies. Hot food can be purchased from 10am to 9pm and there is also a continental breakfast available. We run photographic tours and recently changed our base to Happy Valley as it...

I had my own little villa for myself. Very nice and clean room - not modern but appropriate. Extremely loud fridge. The food (dinner) was just o.k. but not more. The breakfast was rather poor. The Generators are very loud all over the place - to bad at such a wonderful place I'd really love to have enjoyed the quietness...

We booked on the below reviews and from looking at the website, we then found out you couldn't walk on the island (we found this from a local not the hotel) and required a 4x4. So we phoned the hotel for advice, we were told that I could get a taxi but they didn't have the number for the only...

Location on the island as well as the rooms are perfectly fine, pity we were not able to finish our meal/drinks in the restaurant and were just bullied away. Last drink was literally pulled out of my hand after a +75AUD spent per person. Not our idea of an evening well spent with friends...

We spent one night here but could easily have stayed much longer! The rooms were really light, clean, and spacious with private decking areas. The beds were really comfy and the room had a fridge and glasses etc. which was useful. Dinner was delicious and afterwards we walked down to sit on the beach and the stars were absolutely amazing....

I loved this place. The website said the accommodation was basic so imagine my delight when I see beautiful wood furniture, a lovely bar and restaurant, and most of all the biggest smile from the Manager during check-in. Rooms had no air-cond rooms were warm, though who cares when you are on Fraser Island, and should be outside anyway. They...

I spent just 1 night in this retreat (I wish I had booked for more nights) with my boyfriend. Everything was included as part of 2days/1night trip with The Discovery Group. The room was huge and really clean and luckily there was no carpet but timber floor. The toilets were in common but they were perfectly clean and brand new....

We stayed here for 2 nights to discover Fraser Island for the first time. The 3 of us really did have a great time exploring the area and staying in this resort made our short vacation even better! The cabin was spacious with a lot of lights coming through the many windows. The bbq area provides a nice spot to...

Stayed as part of a trip through The Discovery Group/G Adventures. My room was beautiful - wood floors, spacious, airy, full of windows. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and it was quiet and peaceful. Outdoor areas are just as lovely as the rooms.
