The views from the rooms are spectacular! Definitely pay the extra cost for a sea view. The actual hotel is a bit tired. Rooms are actually 3 star standard - main bedroom is fine but bathroom and balcony need a refresh. Breakfast has plenty of choice however the restaurant at the actual hotel feels a bit canteen like and very...

Just came back from my fourth stay at the Reef View hotel. Ive stayed in levels 3, 7,10 & 17 on different occasions over the past two years. They are mostly the same in respect to size differing only in layout. I have yet to encounter any problems with service, room, or amenities. Overall, the rooms are clean but dated.

The staff are amazing. The reef suite is awesome with a fantastic view. The suite was great for my family of four (with two small children). The beds are comfortable. Being split over two levels makes it nice in the evening when the children are in bed. Hamilton Island caters so well for children . With the kids eat free...

Overall, we had an absolutely amazing time at the Reef View Hotel. We got a suite on the 19th floor (top floor) which I would recommend. Rachel who picked us up from the airport was absolutely lovely, as were management. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the rest of their employees, who could be quite rude. I was kept...

Dear DavidandJulia A pleasure having you here with us and thank you for your feedback and kind words. I’m so glad to hear that my management team and that Rachel was able to be so helpful. I shall personally pass on your feedback. I am naturally concerned to learn that you had issues with the Tour Desk and that the...

Firstly, the staff are amazing and always eager to help out in any way. The hotel itself is very vast and includes a pool with not enough pool chairs and everyone puts down towels to hold chairs before actually being ready to sit or swim. There is also mini golf for a charge which was OK but a little run...

Had a onderful week on Hamilton Island and are already planning return visit. 5 nights was just the right length of visit, room was clean and well serviced, staff were amazing. Pools were all great but hotel pool was best (quieter and with no bar had no bogan element). Only small point is wifi is not great so if you...

Well I have a lot to say, but will make short and sweet. After reading so many posts of this place, I was a little perplexed in what to expect. We wanted to visit close to home this time around, after a busy year with work. I read heaps of posts on here, a lot were on housekeeping, food, staff,...

It was our first visit to Hamilton Island & we were very impressed. We had requested Ocean views from our Family suite & were very impressed & happy. 2 adjoining rooms with fantastic views. Rooms always clean & tidy as was the hotel. Wonderful food in the restaurant downstairs & great to have poolside waiter service for food & drinks....

There are several places you can stay on Hamilton Island from the resorts to the beach bungalows to the private villas. We stayed at at the Reef View Hotel. We had a lovely room with an amazing view of the Coral Sea and nearby Whitsunday Island. The hotel has a shuttle that can take you around to all the various...

At a whopping $550 per night for a Garden facing room on Level 3 at the end of December 2014 we were expecting something slightly better than a room with carpet squares and a mouldy (slightly gross) bathroom straight from the 1990s. I would describe the rooms as below average, lacking in any element of luxury yet priced like it....
