Had a wonderful time staying at Mayfair for just an overnight birthday celebration! And the bed, feels like you’re sleeping in a cloud..super comfy! Very clean, free mini bar!!! Overall, it was one of the best hotels in Adelaide (too bad no swimming pool though)
This is a lovely hotel in a great location, excellent soundproofing and with great staff. However, I felt some of the staff were under experienced. We had a deluxe king room. Although the bed was king, we felt we were rolling into the middle of it when sleeping. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean but felt the carpets needed a good steam clean. Be careful when the hotel advises late check out is included. In this case, it was for only 1 hour after the regular late check out time. Otherwise it would cost extra. The rooftop Hennessy Bar was great as was the daily breakfast.
I would encourage anyone to stay at the Mayfair for the weekend My wife and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary there and had the best time. The staff is wonderful and the vibe of the hotel is awesome! It is close to so many good things in Adelaide We will be back.
We stayed here on our wedding night. And was amazing. Could not have asked for a better experience on our special night. Would 100% recommend to a friend or family member for their special night. Or even just a quick get away.
Check in was great, room clean and nice. Free mini bar a nice touch. The view was terrible in our room but the room itself was well kept and nice. All the staff were very friendly and attentive . The bed was very soft it was still comfortable but too soft. Room noice and dark for sleeping. Nice toiletries and good quality mini bar tea and coffee items
We spent a night here before boarding the Trans Tasman. All the staff members were considerate and caring making you feel at home instantly. Nothing was too much trouble. As we were not hungry we ate in the bistro area and I had the best caesar salad I have eaten anywhere in the world We left our luggage here until we needed to check in for the train. When we went to collect it earlier than we anticipated they offered us coffee.
Lovely hotel with nice rooms but quite an expensive option for what you get compared to other options in the city. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, a lot smaller than anticipated. Overall a nice stay, but wouldn’t go back.
We went to the Mayfair Hotel to have dinner in the Mayflower Restaurant. We first had drinks at the Den and the service we received was excellent as they explained what pre drinks were nice to have. I chose to have a cocktail and our server Michael gave great recommendations and explained what was in each one. We then went into the Mayflower and once again excellent service from Michael. He explained about each dish from entree to dessert and made recommendations and what to give a try. Hands down to the chefs they did an excellent job on all the food we were served. Also great advise on wines they offer. I recommend the Mayfair highly as this is our third visit and have never been let down. Maria and Peter Rawnsley
I absolutely love the Mayfair Hotel. It's so beautiful and from the moment you check in, you feel welcomed. The rooms are beautiful, the bed nice and comfy and everything is quality. We ate dinner in The Den and the food was really good.
Second time we have stayed and was better than first time. Good air quality, clean everything. Staff were always professional and courteous. Location is excellent and so close to everything in CBD area.
