This place has lots of good reviews, certainly has some very good points. We didn't get the friendly welcome so maybe just bad timing, who knows. We just got the 'have you booked' without a smile. Maybe we didn't look like we could afford it. That wasn't a great start though. Nice bed and linen. Good to have a kitchen....

We could not fault anything. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful on arrival and check in. The rooms are generous in size, gorgeous ambience, and very comfortable. We slept in due to the quietness, the darkness and and comfort of the bed. We were in no hurry that day therefore the sleep in was refreshing.

I looked on Trip Advisor to choose this accommodation. I wanted to stay underground which this place is. It is not an old mine and has been purpose built. It is not in the center of town which makes it quiet. However it is close to the IGA and other amenities. Nick the host was very welcoming showing me the...

Stayed here for two nights and were very happy!!! Beautiful underground setting and the rooms were very clean! Staff friendly and helpful. It's also really close to everything. Has a great lookout on the roof that overlooked Coober Pedy and the breakaways. Highly recommended

Our Queen Superior room was lovely, the staff were super helpful and very friendly! The bare rock walls were stunningly beautiful, the amenities were very well-appointed and it was quite modern, despite the bare rock. It takes built-in wardrobes to a new level! It was an excellent experience all round!

While travelling back to Adelaide from Alice Springs we stayed in Coober Pedy for 2 nights. The rooms are great especially the 'Miners Dugout.' They're also very clean & neat! The owners & staff are very friendly, hospitable and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Looks like a dump at the top of a hill but when one gets inside it is clean, quiet, cool and with very helpful staff. Has some of the crispest white sheets on the bed I have ever experienced. Good shower. A little humid as no aircon installed.

The motel is clean and comfortable. The motel owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in this motel to experience underground living which was great. If we were to stay there again, we would stay in a room with a door to the outside so we could also have sunlight during the day. Motel is a few minutes drive...
