Our first stop whilst visiting the East Coast of Tasmania. Reminded us of an American summer camp. Large cabins overlooking the beach. Not really for couples but nice anyway. Some cabins have been renovated. On another point the on site restaurant open for lunch and dinner was super. With a brewery on site, Ironhouse Brewery made our stay a little...

The restaurant here is light and spacious with outstanding views up the East Coast to Falmouth, Scamander and beyond. I have had four meals here in the past few months and they have all been delicious. Be sure to taste the in-house beers and wines. While I was very pleased to see that the menu had been changed recently I...

A stunning location with a great beach and facilities. Would like to see the resort offering picnic food to take away as limited options to buy food unless you drive to Scamander. Highly recommend for a short holiday break.

My wife and I spent a night here for New Years Eve, and found that White Sands was everything that it had promised to be online. Plenty to do for kids with tennis courts, private beach, basketball courts, pool and playground to keep them entertained. The cabins were very spacious and self contained. The meal at the restaurant was beautiful...

The restaurant has undergone some changes, all for the better! New chef and wait staff makes a world of difference. I had the Boar fish and it was cooked to perfection and tasted delectable, my partner had the squid and said that it was melt in the mouth, our son had the Cape Grimm burger and his partner had the...

We visited white sands for a few drinks out in the sun. A couple of my friends ordered a vodka raspberry and the vodka was undrinkable. The smell was horrid and the taste was just like metho! The service was great. Beer was great. Scenery beautiful!

Stayed here for a work conference, the area was very clean & well kept. The staff were all very helpful & friendly. Dinner was served fast & nothing to fault being delicious. Special mention to Ally who helped with all our requests throughout the night & was so friendly. Rooms were nice & clean, & checkin/out was a fast process.

Our daughter worked there some years ago and we have been there many times and enjoyed it. But, today we were very disappointed. After an hour of waiting for our lunch I asked where it was and was told it was being plated up now, 1 & 1/2 hours later we got our lunch, steak and a platter and neither...

White sands resort was simply extraordinary. The accommodation has been so well designed to blend in with the beautiful scenery and works so well with the entire environment. Great, thoughtful staff, restaurent and centrally located for extra tassie experiences. We are already planning our next, longer, visit.

White Sands Resort is a fairly large complex with separate units dotted around the property. Views are over the sea to the east, from private verandah. The rooms are quite spacious, shower is a bit cramped. Rooms are a bit dated but gradually being refurbished. Has a great restaurant, also overlooking the sea, meals are very nice, fresh, good variety,...
