Following a Fantastic return meal at the restaurant, we made enquiry about a group booking. It wasn't a particularly helpful experience and was directed to the website, (even tho Linda recognised itwas a poor and out-of-date site). Have since checked the site and seems numerous dates are unavailable. Seems to be poor function of the site. Apparently we couldn't inspect...

Were here for lunch with a group of friends and it was a truly fine experience. Excellent staff, fine food, fresh local ingredients, superior cooking. Enjoying great views over the ocean and coastline of Eastern Tasmania.

We stayed here for our son's wedding, with families from all over Australia and Tassie. The units are all beautifully renovated, refurbished and very clean. This venue was idyllic and perfect for the wedding. The reception was catered for by the resort and I could not fault it, the food was beautiful and plentiful, the staff were friendly and efficient....

Fantastic views, excellent selection of Tasmanian fare, steak, pork, seafood. Extensive entree menu, local micro brewery. Friendly staff. Suitable for families, friends or large functions. Also accommodation available.

Set among the the most spectacular strip of coastline between Freycinet and the Bay of Fires, this place takes some beating It has ocean views that stretch out forever, with your own on-site brewery and a vineyard. But that's not all: there is a stocked trout lake where even a klutz can bag the slippery sucker. If a secluded beach...

White Sands promises a lot, and delivers some aspects well and truly, other aspects a bit to be desired. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, very family orientated - why such huge deck areas is a mystery. Beach is pleasant for a walk, but not much good for swimming. Resort facilities - restaurant, brewery tasting room, pool are great and what...

Found cabin 13 in a time warp, with no aircon, furniture in a poor state all in all vert poor value and most disappointing. The resturant and pool were of a good standard and the cabins on either side of 13 had aircon and larger decks.

We had high hopes for White Sands Resort. Located on the east coast of Tasmania south of St Helens, the outlook is lovely and the main reception building is impressive. Check in was smooth, but the room was disappointing. Tiles throughout the unit made the floor ice cold-freezing even though it was January. The room was tired as if nothing...

We staid here a few weeks ago mid week. It wasn't over crowded and the pool was mostly empty. The views were amazing from our freshly renovated unit with a huge deck out front to take in the rays (we could have done with a shade cloth overhead. We thought the meals in the restaurant could have been better and...

Our second year in a row for a family holiday - and will return again. The friendly & professional staff, the comfortable & spacious unit along with a clean large pool, cafe/restaurant, kayaking, beach, cinema & tennis all contributed to our very relaxed holiday.
