We recently stayed at this hotel which was very Central as the name suggest to everything. Short walk to Mona Ferry and attractions. Rooms were basic but cosy and snug. Brekkie was a bit disappointed as had read other reviews on brekkie. Overall a good choice. We had a very quite room no noise from downstairs bar area but then...

I've been staying in Central bar hotel for only 4 nights. Food was amazing, eggs Benedict were just perfect as well as beef salad! Rooms were clean and spacious, stuff was very friendly and helpful with advices about getting around! Location was just 5 minutes from Salamanca - the hub of restaurants and bars in town, couple of minutes from...

The rooms were neat and spacious. Parking was a minus, nothing onsite (except street parking, which is free after 6, however check in is at 2) but parking was available in the multi-storey complex for an additional $15. Access to the parking is a block away, pedestrian access right across the road from the hotel. Was difficult to get our...

What a great place! Rooms were clean, bed comfy and even with 5 degrees outside the rooms were lovely and warm. Breakfast to order was also included in the very low price. Marcus and Tim(Jim) were fantastic, nothing was a bother, and great personalities. With the advantage of being in the centre of Hobart, everything was within walking distance. No...

I would NOT return. Except to talk to Jim and eat a great eggs benedict. The room (no.4) was tiny, noisy and broken. Shower leaked over the floor and there was nowhere to place the soap or anything as the holder had been smashed and never replaced, as was the sink plug. I booked it because of the reviews. Opening...

Im a local to hobart and I needed a place to stay due to missing the last bus home due to a late work shift. I had the absolute pleasure of staying here. The most central hotel (as you can imagine from the name) it was by far the cleanest, warmest, nicest hotel I have stayed in, in hobart. And...

Great value for money - my girlfriend and I stayed four nights and were able to walk to most places we wanted to go to. Five minutes walk to Salamanca Place, Constituion Dock, Battery Point. Great spot. Very friendly staff and Tim was an angel. Be prepared for the early closing times. Wonderful cooked breakfast. Wholeheartedly recommend the Eggs Bendict...

A great place to stay. Incredibly well located (just a few mins walk to the waterfront or to Woolworths) and very clean, large rooms. Although the rooms are above the bar I wasn't disturbed by any noise - a little bit of music and that was it. The breakfast choices are lovely. I hired a car for 5 days so...

This is a great value hotel in a perfect position. Not luxury but everything you could want in my opinion. Modern quiet and clean rooms, friendly service, central location and an excellent breakfast included. Highly recommended.
