I was very happy with the hotel spa and view from my ocean view room. The only downside was the distance to the CBD and the separate tower I was in from the main hotel facilities. I would stay there again.

The hotel wasn't built recently, but considering it was built in the 70's its well kept. I stayed in the tower on the 15th floor with the Riverview and I must say it was defiantly worth the extra $10. The room had the amenities that one would expect from a 4.5 star hotel and was of average size. The convenience...

I love staying at Wrest Point (have stayed in all 3 room types many times for business and private travel) as there are so many dining options, free parking, free gym, free wifi, entertainment options, lovely places to walk of an evening or early morning - and you don't have to wander the street to find a meal.

The staff was exceptional, efficient and friendly. Parking was free which was a bonus. Our room was on the 17th floor and had spectacular river views. It was OK but the decor was very dated. The shower needed some mould remover, the tile floor needed some steam cleaning and the windows also needed cleaning. The bed was comfortable and the...

Thank you for your balanced review of wrest Point. Wrest point has been constructed in stages over many decades, and you can see that in its architecture. The main 17 storey round hotel tower has a distinctly 1960s look to it, whilst the adjoining conference centre is about 20 years later, and the boardwalk and Pier restaurant are as modern as you get. This isn't the only odd thing...

Stayed here on business for 1 night, the band I manage were playing a show in the theatre at the casino. The hotel is good, rooms are spacious, I had a nice view. Didn't get to use the facilities but went and looked it was nice. It's convenient to have to have the casino just downstairs, the restaurants were very...

We booked to see a show with accommodation and breakfast included. The show venue was a bit of a let down, plastic chairs which were not very comfortable and because the seating is not at different height levels, ones view was not so good if a person in front was tall. Our hotel room was in the tower and had...

Yes it's a little run down but the rooms are perfectly serviceable and the views are fantastic. The hotel itself has a real Art Deco feel. There are a number of bars and restaurants in the complex too. A nice touch that you get a free local paper left at your door each morning.

Recently attended a tourism conference at the hotel, everything ran smoothly and you couldn't fault the service levels from the staff. The hotel itself was great, the rooms large and very comfortable. Though on the edge of the city it is only a short walk to Battery Point and Salamanca Place. Can recommend.
