My partner and I absolutely loved it here. We're from Melbourne but felt right at home when greeted by Jeff at the reception. He was extremely helpful and informative on all things Hobart, with recommendations on restaurants and sightseeing and tips on travel times from here to there. The rooms were great and the guest lounge was a lovely spot...

Our group pf 4 couples recently stayed at The Lodge On Elizabeth as our base for our holiday in Tasmania. Great old building steeped in colonial history, the heritage rooms are very well presented with period features and modern facilities. The continental breakfast included in the tariff was full of choice including juices, cereals, various breads, english muffins and crumpets...

The building has a hundred years of history and more, but is still well maintained. Room and living room are so cozy that give me a feeling of home. Our host Jeff is very friendly and he recommended some nice places in the city for us to explore. He even turned on the heater to warm up the room before...

Stayed in the Lodge one night and came back for two more a couple of days later. Lovely old building, cozy rooms, nicely furnished bathrooms and a comfortable lounge for guest's use. Very attentive and friendly host and a nice and varied breakfast. Walking distance to many restaurants and to the harbour. Unconditionally recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights. Central location in Hobart close to the wharfs and eateries. Lovely old restored building and the hosts are very friendly. Very peaceful garden out the back is an idealspot to just sit and relax. Continental breakfast is very good, a wide variety of choices that would not put a 5 star hotel to shame. Rooms are...

My travel agent booked this and I had no idea what I was getting into. I was there in Nov 2016 and the place was setup for Christmas. The hosts were amazing and welcomed me and showed me around the very beautiful inn. The host was very accommodating to me as I was getting up very early and he set...

We based ourselves for 5 nights in Hobart to see the surrounding area and this was the prefect place to say. Walking into the city and to the water and easy access to find our way out in the car. Old style accommodation, very clean and comfortable, very nice common room for a port in the evening. Great breakfast with...

My partner and I stayed two nights when we arrived in Hobart and a night at the end of our trip. What lovely hosts Jeff and Julie were, making the stay one of the highlights of our trip. They look after their lodge and their guests with the same care and attention. We had a lovely comfortable room with a...
