Myself and my boyfriend stayed in narrara backpackers for 2 weeks. We had looked up reviews before getting here and we were a bit wary, we'd seen some bad ones. We were planning on staying for a week just to settle in and we ended up absolutely loving it, we booked another week. Its run by Moe and his wife...

We stayed here for one night and had everything we needed. We were able to book last minute the day we needed accomodation. The kitchen is okay - not overly clean but fine if you are staying one or two nights or dining out. The rooms are basic but fine. The owner seemed lovely. Nice and secure with the door...

My girlfriend and I use to spend our weekends in town, stayed here just a single night but this has been the most enjoyable hostel we've stayed in Hobart. Clean toilet, comfortable beds and a wifi which really works! It's a small family running hostel but we'll hope it'll stay like this so we'll come back for sure.

Islamic owners of this hostel Choose to discriminate and harass innocent guests! I was celebrating my 47th birthday with a quiet drink of wine in the lounge. I was feeling a bit sad and depressed and just keeping to myself not annoying anybody. The owner decided to object to my presence and I got a real sense of hatred and...

You are wrong Shane. We did not disrespect you or harass you. We simply did not extend your stay because of your behaviour that's all. We are very tolerant operators with a warm friendly hostel. We have managed this hostel for seven years and are proud of our role in welcoming thousands of people from all corners of the world....

Okay, so my room at the narrara is not as plush as the Prince of Wales hotel room I had for a couple of nights. It also cost about 1/3 of what the POW did. For $62. AUS I got a clean single private room in a quiet and well-run backpackers' hotel. The bathroom and shower facilities were down the...

I stayed at Narrara backpackers for 3 nights on a trip to Hobart to explore some of Tasmania. I was just looking for an affordable place to stay where I could have a quiet bed to myself. Narrara fit my needs perfectly, but that is not the primary reason that inspired me to write my first review ever on TripAdvisor....

I stayed here for 3 nights. It's my 1st time to live in backpacker. I stayed in a 3 dorms room. The room is really small and with a little bit wet. But the public area is lovely. Also the female shower room is very clean and bright. It's quiet and I had good sleep during my stay..

Friendly family run backpackers. Economical accommodation with clean bathrooms. Basic kitchen. Cheap excellent meals for $10 at hotel around the corner so no need to cook. Walk up the hill to Peace Park & Mt Knock Lofty Reserve for beautiful views over Hobart.

It is a little expensive, but it is not a bad place and also the staff was really kind. The owner took us in his car to the cbd gave us some directions. I wouldn't mind going again. Also if you want to walk it is not too far from the cbd, and they offer parking if you have a...
