B&B in a beautiful old house promises a lot but not quite delivering. It was restored quite some time ago, with the rooms requiring refurbishment asap. Peeling paint, old furniture, worn carpets, cracked mirrors all detract from a property with history and character ... What...More
A beautiful house in a perfect location. Directly opposite Wrest Point Casino where we were fortunate enough to dine at the Revolving Restaurant on Level 14 without a prior booking. Serendipity.
But the house itself was very much to my taste. Lovely art in a...More
The location is good, but a bit far to walk to the waterfront, and the staff are very pleasant. As others have mentioned however you will only see the staff at breakfast time.

This is a wonderful restored period property. It has a special ambience I found much better than a hotel room.

A female friend and I are travelling together. We are not a couple and require our own beds. We wouldn't mind sharing a room if it was large enough, but would prefer our own bedroom if possible.
Could you pls suggest would accommodation would best suit and also the prices.
We don't have definite dates as yet, but are thinking Fri 6 March to either Monday 9th or Tuesday 10th.

Thanks for your enquiry. As Barb above has mentioned room1 would accommodate you comfortably with a queen bed and a single bed. If you would prefer your own bedrooms I would recommend Suite 7 - there is a room with a queen size bed with an adjoining bedroom with twin beds. The ensuite is connected to the twin bedroom. Please do give me a call on 0458 016 271 I can let you know rates for the dates requested.
I look forward to hearing from you,
