Our final 3 nights of our Tasmanian trip were back in Hobart, and boy did we wish we had stayed where we had started our trip - Lenna's. We forked out a lot of money for the penthouse loft and were disappointed right from the start, car parking - we did know about the car stacker but were not aware...

First I have to say all staff were lovely and happy to accommodate & rooms are furnished nicely (except for mediocre bed). Unfortunately, the room design was terrible in the Penthouse Loft. It was facing the park but tiny & dark and to us, very claustrophobic so we were offered Penthouse Apartment No 19 (across the foyer). We agreed, as...

Dear Julia, We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. The character of our Loft Penthouse rooms comes from the architectural design of the sloping roof, the floor to ceiling windows, the beautiful baths and the custom made Tasmanian furniture. We understand that some people may prefer a more conventional room with a standard ceiling height....

Reception staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were spotless, with a lovely outlook. The cafe had a warm inviting atmosphere. Staff, food and coffee were all excellent, making it a great way to start the day.

Excellent position on Castray Esplanade, minutes from markets, beautiful parklands and historical markers. Quiet, clean, modern and wonderful use of Tasmanian timbers and art in the buildings and apartments. Very helpful reception, cafe downstairs serving delicious breakfast and lunch. C lose to the best restaurants in Hobart, 10 minutes walking. Excellent value.

Great location and great place to stay. Friendly staff and rooms had everything you need. We booked a studio apartment and were upgraded to 1 bedroom apartment. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to Hobart!

We stayed at Salamanca Wharf this week on a 3 day trip to Hobart. This worked really well for us. Our room was a studio on the second floor. The fit out was smart and comfortable. There was not a lot of hanging space but we only had a couple of items. The kitchen looked more than adequate but the...

This is a beautiful hotel located in a great spot of Hobart. Walking distance to big selection of restaurants and bars. The markets that are a must do on a Saturday are 100m up the road and worth the visit. The café/ restaurant in the hotel serves great food and is always busy. We had a loft penthouse which looked...

Good location in the redeveloped wharf area so lots of restaurants nearby and close to the water based attractions and ferries. Arrived about noon but room was ready which was good. Check in was friendly and efficient. Car parking was in a car stacker so car size could be an issue - we had a bog standard saloon so no...
