What a find. A hidden gem. We loved staying at this home away from home and working farm. Having free range peacocks saying good morning to us was a delight! The rooms are very tidy and neat. Everything you could wish for is provided. Just delightful. The stay included a fully functional kitchen as well which was very handy.

Really loved this place - very clean, well equipped and roomy. Older in style and very comfortable. Each unit has their own BBQ and there is a beautiful outdoor sitting area. A good dog friendly place - just need to make sure they don't find the geese, ducks and the peacock!

We had a wonderful time staying at this location. It was a home away from home waking up to nature. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the owners Stuart and Sue were very welcoming. We will be back.

Our 3rd time here & it is just as relaxing as the first time. Nice large rooms - clean & basic but just perfect as a get-a-way. The Maxwell's are very approachable & very helpful & don't be concerned about the peacock wandering over the roof at night :))

Lovely spacious place to stay. The grounds are lovely. There were geese, chickens and peacocks. Sheep and horses in the paddock next door. The gardens were lovely and everything was great. We had a lovely two bedroom cottage that was huge. My family enjoyed our stay immensely. Would recommend as a lovely relaxing stop over.

A fantastic place to stay; great for families. The unit was larger than expected with lounge, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms & bathroom; very clean & cosy with comfortable beds. Children can enjoy feeding the animals, playing games that are provided and collecting kindling for the wood heater. I love the fact that it brings a family together. Inclusions: 1 litre...

First stayed here 4 years ago and loved it then so decided to revisit. We weren't disappointed. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, the bathroom large & there is plenty of storage space. They are also dog friendly as long as it is properly controlled. An extra was all the food that was left for us, fresh eggs, bacon,...

Situated in the as yet undiscovered town of Springhurst, this location gives you easy access to all the region's great tourist attractions but still feels like a small rural community. The Butter Factory offers retro styling yet comfortable and affordable accommodation within a farmhouse setting (complete with farmyard animals!). As l was new to the area, hosts Sue and Stuart...
