Nice position view and cleanliness but we found the front desk lacked communication and friendly staff. Whilst staying here there was confusion on our cards that had been cancelled for no reason. I was asked to pay again but the room was already fully paid for and we couldn't get out of the car park due to the card given...

Stayed here for a 2 day business trip and during my time staff were always friendly and the room was beautiful. The location was nice and convenient to everything. Couldn't fault anything during my 2 nights here. Would stay here again!

Great location for shopping etc. The hotel seems a little tired these days and the restaurant is like a cave. The rooms are a great size with everything you need but the wifi is a tad expensive. I had stayed at this hotel before but no mention was made of this or maybe an upgrade offered.

Well located to entertainment, restaurants and the top end of town. The apartments are well appointed and have lots of space. An IGA supermarket below is a bonus for longer stays as well. Close to public transport too.

The Mantra on the Park is situated in a handy location to access the CBD as well as accessing major roadways such as the Monash. Rooms are well appointed with separate eating and living areas with a balcony for views of the CBD.

only disappointment was the restaurant being closed on Sunday night. We were recommended to walk down the next block and this worked ok. We didn't read the sign in the lift about restaurant being closed until we walked out Sunday night - maybe more signage to advise this

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are a little dated and are starting to look very worn, especially bathrooms however the staff keep the property very clean. Great car park, lots of room.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
