Situated close to heart of town , this hotel has a very low key entry from a narrow lane. Rooms are well equipped with a microwave, fridge and free wifi. Rooms were good but the view was only of nearby buildings. There is no greenery anywhere near it. Breakfast ,though repeatitive was sumptuous and staff friendly.

Great value for money. Whilst having stayed in far nicer rooms in Melbourne they were also far more expensive. The staff were all very professional, efficient and friendly. The room was certainly spacious enough for 2 people and offered all the convenience of a kitchenette. The bathroom was compact but not unworkable and the L'Occitane toiletries were a touch of...

What i like the most is room cleanliness and comfortable bed. Spacious room with kitchen allows me to re-heat food. The location is close to city centre and within walking distance to food centre. Good quality for the price.

Terrible, everything was cheap and nasty. Even the desk fell apart when I tried to get behind it to access the power outlet. Foyer stank of cheap air freshener it stung my nostrils did you use a whole can in that one small area? Rooms are small and dated. More expensive per night than the Stamford Plaza?!!!?! I honestly don't...

Stayed for 1 night visiting Melbourne CBD. Overall a good well-equipped compact 1-bedroom apartment. Bed was great. Room layout quite clever, maximising use of space, and included appliances would certainly be useful for longer stays. Toiletries good quality. Some minor maintenance issues: Bluetooth speaker clock with USB charging ports didn't work at all. Aircon was quite loud all night in...

As a four star accommodation, it is very good. Our room was very clean with quality products provided. The kitchenette was great. We were upgraded for our four nights which was a pleasant...

Apart from a slightly over the top arrival process, this is a brilliant place to stay. Comfortable rooms with good pillows, nice shower products, good hairdryer and a great breakfast with a big range of food and pod coffee. Very easy to find somewhere good for dinner locally too. This is my favourite business hotel

This hotel was booked through work and I was a bit nervous looking at the location, being situated in a small lane off LaTrobe street. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

“Double check the definition of 'balcony' if this is important to you (we didn't need one). Our 'balcony was maybe 10cm deep - a fenced off ledge. However there is a lovely open terrace on the top floor freely accessible to all guests if you want a real balcony experience. ”
