Stayed here whilst on business in Melbourne, comfortable and clean hotel, quite modern, reasonable view of docklands apart from having the new police hq building across the road blocking a lot of view, tv was ok but no cable channels, local tv only, guy at reception when i checked in was a bit surly but i didnt see him again,...

Room surprised us because there was literally no place to sit as there were two adults and one child, room very small but clean and close to airport bus, Vic Market, Aquarium and other sights my son wanted to show his daughter. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection of food. Charging if one wanted to bring car...

Having stayed here before we were sure things would be great. They mostly were: excellent staff at check in, comfy bed, clean room, delightful breakfast. However a few things let this accommodation down such as no information about how the room or hotel works in the room itself like breakfast times, heating etc. Our wi fi would not work. When...

Having stayed here previously on many occasions prior to the expansion I was keen to see if it was still one of my preferred places to stay. It was! A last minute decision to park the car was accommodated efficiently and as always the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was basic but all we needed for a one...

Booked this location through bookings.com. Looked liked a great place to stay and it was to include breakfast. The room was the size of a shoebox, did not have a microwave and on departure we were charged for breakfast. Would not recommend.

Stayed at this hotel twice now. It's perfect. Staff are friendly and extremely accommodating. Early check in is available at no extra charge. Was extremely pleased to be told our room was available at 10am in the morning. Parking is 20 dollars for a one night stay. Which is more then half the price of any other hotel in the...

I stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Atlantis earlier this month while on a trip to Melbourne, perfect location for trams ( tram stops right at the corner) and food outlets within walking distance. The staff at the Atlantis were very helpful and friendly, polite friendly smiles each time you approached them. The room was clean and a good...

This is a great hotel. It was our first time staying in Melbourne and Atlantis did not disappoint us. The location of this hotel is great. Spencer Street station is just across the road and just a short walk to Etihad stadium and docklands. Our room was nice and clean, bed was pretty comfortable. Tea/ coffee maker was available in...

We have stayed in a lot of hotels in Melbourne and the Atlantis is on top of our return to list by a mie. Our greeting was beyond excellent, our room was ready early so we checked in before lunch. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool/sauna/gym was excellent and breakfast (which was included)...

Stayed at Atlantis hotel midweek to Sunday, April 2017. Honestly, can't praise the staff enough, they were very accommodating, friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
