Great combination of spacious/well kept rooms and proximity to all activities and sight seeing. The staff was very accommodating to any needs we had, be it a request to yoga mat or deliver complimentary water bottles or helping with sight seeing. I took ill during the trip and the staff helped me locate a good doctor to visit. Gym has...

Great location, always clean, staff are friendly and facilities are very good. The gym, tennis court and basketball court are a highlight for me as i like to be active when I'm working or on holidays. Central location to great restaurants and breakfast places.

Great hotel and staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The Sunday brunch in the downstairs restaurant, was absolutely incredible... would recommend to everyone! The only downside was the price of the room service. I do not mind paying for quality, however this was expensive and below average food. Would still recommend staying here if you get the chance.

We celebrated our anniversary with a weekend at the Grand Hyatt. The Grand King Suite had views to die for and the room was spacious and perfectly designed. We loved the complimentary evening drinks & canapés in the club lounge; continental breakfast was ok. Front desk service excellent. We would love to return one day

Overall we enjoyed our stay. However not a good start when upon approaching the check in desk we witnessed another guest berating your staff over the quality of the hotel. We were disappointed to not be shown or realise that breakfast on the 31st floor had a fruit / cereal station. My wife is Gluten intolerant, and while suitable GF...

Room not ready on check in (we checked in at 2.30). Stayed in the club room. Room was noisy throughout the whole night, breakfast in the club area only buffet with little selection. Need to introduce a la carte menu.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
