We stayed at the Gipps Street apartments. The accommodation was more dated than it looked in the pictures but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff were helpful. Was an great location for the MCG.

I recently had to stay in Melbourne and was very happy with the friendly and very helpful staff at City Edge Apartments. It is close to Peter Mac, and good shops nearby. I would stay again if I need to go to Melbourne again in the near future..

My parents and me, we booked accidentaly two two bedroom apartments for three nights, but needed only one of the apartments. Directly on the first day, we explained the mistake at the reception and friendly asked for a refund, at least for the second and the third night. For more than an hour we had to talk to hotels.com, wait...

Problems started right at the start. Whilst checking in at the Powlett Street address we were in fact told that our unit was located in Gipps Street, even though all our booking papers stipulated that it was Polwett Street. When we arrived at our unit in Gipps Street we found the door to our apartment unlocked, anyone could have walked...

I could go on. Positives - air con works, nice cafes just across the road...

Excellent location, comfortable bed, super compact kitchen. You get everything you want to make your stay a memorable and a comfortable one. Only negative point is; housing only once a week. Our stay of 10 days we felt like home and enjoyed a lot. don't lose the room key, they charged AUS$100/-

We bought a deal voucher as the price seemed good and the web pictures lead us to believe that this place would be quite good for us. We were staying with out 2 year old daughter and we made this clear. We arrived early and just asked to stash our bags. Reception staff were disinterested and rude. There is a...
