The main plus for this property is its location. You can walk to all 3 main theatres plus it's very close to a number of tram stops. We found it really easy to get around Melbourne from this location. There was plenty of room for 2 adults in the 1 bedroom apartment and it was pretty quiet on the 6th...

Kettle and bathroom door not working. Dirty crockery and cutlery. Not enough crockery for 4 people. Dirty dining room table. Not enough seating in lounge area for 4 adults. Good stay overall but minor details lacked attention. Provided this list to reception but only kettle rectified. Would have preferred a working bathroom lock than 2 free bottles of beer.

We found the 2 bedroom apartment very comfortable for 2 A and 2 C. It was spacious, very clean and great value for money. The location was also very handy to trams going in all directions and we were very grateful to be able to leave all our bags in storage on our last day before heading back to the...

Well priced, spacious rooms within walking distance of all Melbourne's theaters. Quiet area, particularly at weekends. Lack of own car park could be a problem for some. No in-room free WiFi is a downside.

My one complaint would have been the bathroom, which was small and got very damp as four people showered in it. Only a minor flaw, and I would recommend the apartments anyway. Very convenient for the free trams and loads of great eating places nearby.

The room we got on special was good value for money. Parking could have a bit better of a discount but I guess when you come from the country paid parking isn't nearly as dear as the city. Overall a nice stay, staff were easy to deal with and the room was clean and modern.

Great place for an overnight stay, good location, everything clean and tidy. Definitely would stay again. I know the car parking isn’t available but I used public transport to get around which is the easier thing to do in town anyway

The services where the best so far. Locations is very convineient as it is close to everything. Draw back is there is no parking for the facility. $27 per exit would be fairly pricy if someone where to go in and out many times a day. Towels were only replaced once in or 3 nights stay. OVerall i would recomend...

Really enjoyed the stay at the 100 Exhibition Mantra, would stay again. We found the staff at the reception very helpful when we inquired about transport and directions to different venues. The hotel was very quiet so we weren't disturbed by other guests.

This Hotel well Exceeded expectations with their one bedroom apartments. Well fitted out with comfortable furniture, an equipped kitchen(ette), Foxtel, spacious apartments and very helpful staff. Although there was no pool/spa/gym facility at the hotel reception staff happily directed us to another nearby Mantra facility.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
