We were due to stay at these apartments from 26 - 29 January 2017. We are from Adelaide & we were taking the family to see Cirque Du Soleil. The day before our trip my father was taken to hospital in an emergency (he passed away the following day) we called Gem to inform them we obviously had to cancel...

Thankyou for your review. Our cancellation policy is that bookings cancelled within 7 days or arrival are non refundable, bookings cancelled within 28 days are refundable prorata for every night that we are able to rebook. As you cancelled the day before arrival there was no entitlement to a refund. However, given the circumstances we did offer you a partial...

I thought my apartment was on 63 Whiteman St Melbourne when I booked but I was actually given an apartment located on the 17th floor or 180 City Road, Southbank (SouthbankONE Apartments). Disappointment was the balcony which was very small with no outdoor chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The apartment was clean and comfortable the best part was...

The apartment location was excellent! The apartment itself was really good with excellent amenities in the apartment and the security was great with free onsite parking. Wifi was also free as well as Foxtel. The only downfall was the cleanliness, which was really disappointing given that it is such an excellent apartment in every other way. The ensuite had a...

Just so readers are not confused, we stayed in 63 Whiteman Street, name of apartment is called Vue Grande. Fantastic location. It is directly opposite Crown entertainment Centre and walkable to CBD/Swanston Street via bridges across the river. We booked a three bedroom apartment (level 31, 3101) Living room and all the rooms are spacious. Kitchen is very well equipped....

Fantastic views from the 34th floor! Location location location! We are a family of four who stayed with Gem apartments in the Freshwater Place building at Southbank Melbourne and it was fantastic! Our son has a wheelchair and the apartment and complex was accessible. We loved it! Great 2 bedroom apartment, room 3403 with fabulous city views over the Yarra...

4 of us stayed in 3 bedrooms. All had fantastic views - especially the master bedroom! It really is a home away from home, with all amenities supplied. We had no trouble finding it (using the address, not the name of the apartments) Rooms were clean and tidy, and beds were comfortable. A short stroll to the Casino and Southbank,...

Gem's Deluxe Two Bedroom Apartment @ Vue Grande 63 Whiteman St. was indeed a lovely home away from home. It was clean, spacious and comfortable, complete kitchen equipment, extra towels and bed linens, vacuum cleaner, iron, DVD player, Foxtel etc. The apartment was on the 25th floor with an awesome bustling city view. The kids loved watching emergency vehicles rush...

We stayed on the 17th floor which provided fantastic views of the city, Crown and surrounds. The evening view was a spectacular with the multi coloured lights, due to the lights being so prominent curtains would be helpful to close at night to allow darkness rather than lights from Crown reflecting in the mirrored wardrobe doors. The road noise was...

We are confused by this review as we do not require our guests to clean the apartments before departure, other than the kitchen crockery to be mostly cleaned and put away. Our linen is professionally laundered, we would never ask our guests to wash the sheets. Our apartments are professionally cleaned and all of the items listed above have shocked...

When checking-in, be sure to check the address given in the email from the apartment management. There are a few apartments located in various buildings on the same street. The check-in process was seamless (once we located the correct building!) and Melissa, the representative who handled the process was very helpful. Our apartment was on the 15th floor and noise...
