Have stayed at this hotel several times in the past but was very impressed with the renovations. The king size bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect, close to everything, transport, shopping dining etc.

When you are travelling for business you expect a desk that's big enough to work on and a TV in the bedroom to relax with. Left standing outside for 15 minutes as there was no one manning reception on check out. Won't be back.

We really enjoyed our stay and the room was well equipped and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to be able to prepare and enjoy home cooked food and the hotel is in a brilliant location for footy fans

Really good central location - everything in the city is within walking distance of the hotel. Check in and Check out were really easy and the staff were friendly. The bed was really comfy and clean. The bathroom probably could have done with a bleach but felt clean none the less. The kitchenette included enough to be able to do...

Excellent location, Excellent Service, Very clean and comfortable hotel. Will stay there again next time we visit. The first room we were allocated was down the back, downstairs and through a doorway, difficult for us as we both have feet and knee problems but the reception girl changed us to a closer room with no fuss at all. Thank you.

Everything is fine for our 4 people's 6nights stay except the first night I stay in 201! The noise was awful I could not even felt asleep for one hour! As I still need to get up very early for a meeting! (We arrived at the night about 10pm) I even think you should not charge my first night as...

Great spot, handy to all shopping, transport etc. I would definitely stay again. I would think it a great option for Melbourne tourists and sight seeing. Nice to see an old Melbourne building brought back to life.

Rooms basic and bathroom needed a lot of work. Windows could have been double glazed to reduce street noise at night when trying to sleep. Mound in shower recess disgraceful. Leaking taps in shower too

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
