Travelled in group of 7 woman for Garden Show. Had 2 rooms on 3rd floor, one at front of building (street noise got through a bit) and one at rear which was quieter. First impression was of a tired, dull but busy reception/foyer. Hallways to rooms were narrow and not so inviting with stained carpets. Rooms were adequate although small....

Stayed over Easter for $79 a night. Well equipped twin room with kitchenette and a clean but dated bathroom. My room was on the first floor overlooking the alley. Inwas woken up in the early hours of the morning by garbage trucks emptying bins in the alley but managed to get back to sleep both times. At this price, good...

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. But staff was unfriendly during check-in. The rooms are quite small and the traffic of the street was annoying at night time. So other than for a cheapish business stay I can't recommend it.

Great location to access the city, the Lygon st/Brunswick st side of town and the markets. The rooms are tight but functional, a little dated but clean. Staff friendly and helpful, the ground floor cafè does good coffee and the food looks like good quality standard çafè fare. Opens early enough for you to stumble down and grab a lattè...

These apartments are very handy to the city and awesome eating areas. They were roomy warm and bright. Sadly the free wifi advertised was $35 and the breakfast totally not worth it but the start were helpful and the place was pretty clean. Sue

Rooms are not huge, but very clean and you only sleep and want a hot shower in the morning. Public transport at the door step and parking very reasonable. Price was excellent as the Grand Prix was on this weekend.

I ended up booking this hotel as it came up as a recommended hotel on the Virgin Australia website during my checkout after purchasing flights to Melbourne. The location was not too far from the client site on Bourke Street. The room was really dated and didn't look like it had been cleaned since the last few people who had...

I was lucky enough to snap up a bargain deal for $89 for a Sat night!Due to the super cheap price my expectations weren't very high but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. I had booked a twin standard apartment, and it was very clean and spacious. It had two small separate bedrooms, a kitchenette and even...

Clean, friendly, convenient location (for RMIT, but also for the Vic market or Carlton), well-appointed rooms, excellent value - what's not to like? (ok - the rooms are a little small!) Big Mama's two doors down is great for dinner, coffee shop downstairs is perfect for breakfast.
