Excellent location, very close to Vic Market where we had lunch and close to CBD. Has indoor pool, gym and tennis courts so something for everyone. Room nice size and comfortable although bathroom a bit dated. Service was excellent and good value

As is usual with this type of accommodation, a sleeping area, small kitchen, bathroom, clothes washing facilities and a micro lounge are crammed into a small space. It might be too cramped for an extended stay but it is ideal for a night or two and, because it lacks all of the paraphernalia associated with hotels it is more affordable...

stayed at the Milano serviced apartment in a executive 2 bd room apartment and it was absolutely crap. Lets begin, there was stains and groats on the walls, the main very small t.v in the small lounge did not work, the oven did not work only to find the managers disengaged the main switch, there was wood rot every where...

Milano apartments were brilliant. Nice staff with nice entrance. Everything was clean and presentable. Beds were incredibly comfortable and spacious. The modern yet homely feel to the apartment was great. The kitchen was well equipped and had all we needed to make decent meals for 3. Good gym, pool and sauna included was just perfect. Only downside was the expensive...

We stayed one night and wish we could live here! Such a great, clean, comfortable, professional and well serviced apartment. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and only wish we had more time to check out more of their facilities. Great location too.

Super convenient location surrounded by shopping malls, streets, restaurants and closer to tram stations. Queen Victoria Market is very close by and a must visit. Check the timings as it is different each day. We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment, neat and clean, spacious, balcony, kitchen, washer and dryer but dryer never worked. We were disappointed by the service though....

Dear Vasuda, Thank you for your review, it is always valuable to receive guest feedback such as yours. With regard to the washer dryer, on checking we found that the machine was actually working, it seems that the settings can be a little confusing as they are a condenser dryer, which operates in a different fashion to a standard dryer....

My family checked in to these apartments for a short break to Melbourne. I have 16 year old twins. The reception area is nice and inviting, the staff courteous and while not overly friendly are professional and efficient. There are 3 very fast lifts to the 36 floors, the gym, pool and Rv room are located on the 7th floor....

Conveniently located with restaurants, supermarkets, transport handy. 1 & 2 bedroom apartments, self contained with cooking facilities and clothes washer/dryer. Having booked and paid 5 months in advance for an 8 night stay, it was unfortunate that we had to move room after 1 night. We declined an offer to move at 8am for our preferred move about 11am. The apartment is very clean, most importantly it is value for money, and within walking distance to Queen Victoria Market and State Library of Victoria. If you join any day tour with grey line, there is a pick up point just 5 minutes walk from this apartment.

We stayed in a 2-bed apartment for over a week in November, two in the party with a toddler in tow. The apartments are beautifully furnished, very handy for access to the city and pick up for trips. My only problem is that it's not child friendly. The glass furniture is instantly finger-marked and our two year old fell over...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
