Just stayed at the Mangrove Hotel and have to say I can't fault the place. The food was good along with the service. The only negative is the sand flies at dusk but I was pre warned so if do head there be sure to buy a good repellent.

Returning from Cape Leveque for 1 night before flying back to Melbourne we decided to splash out on somewhere nice. We arrived earlier than the normal check in time. We had also requested a quiet room as my wife was 16 weeks pregnant and found it hard to sleep anyway, without any other distractions. The initial room selected was probably...

What a great place to stay. The rooms were very clean the staff were most friendly and helpful. The views were great and if you're there to see the stairway to the moon, it's the perfect location. We would certainly stay here again.

Friendly reception when we arrived: changed our room with little bother. Room around the pool had a lovely outlook and was quite pleasant. Outdoor area a great attraction for afternoon drinks. But we ordered the same drink order each time but it never seemed to be the same price. The food we ordered was served promptly and was delicious. We...

We were chatting with people in the pool of our resort who recommended the Mangrove Hotel as a good place to watch the moon rise. Lucky for us we had arrived at night 3 of Staircase to the Moon. We were expecting to be caught in a tourist trap at the Mangrove but are happy to admit it was not...

We had just one night here at the end of a trip across the Kimbrley and could not have chosen better. Restful location, well appointed rooms and a reasonable price. We were lucky to coincide with a "staircase to the moon" night for which the hotel make a great night of. Highly recommend.

Average meal, could be a great outdoor area with view however, no separate smoking area. Not talking about a random one or two, but at the next table cigar smoker and several other tables had smokers with no regard for the people eating at nearby tables. All this close to the indoor area. Asked the waiter/staff about it - too...

In Broome for the weekend visiting my brother and he said this was the best viewing for staircase. We loved it, we were lucky with a clear night and the viewing from the second floor balcony was amazing. We had pulled pork tacos from the trade stalls and they were really yummy and filling for $15. Beers are a bit...

Dinner with colleagues. Had a table outside and took advantage of the best view in town! Sun went down and the bugs came in - staff quickly found us a table inside without any fuss. Entree of prawns was delightful, the gold band snapper on the other hand, was not. A beautiful piece of fish overcooked. Still, in the main...

Hotel has a really fresh feel about it after renovations . Great location easy walk to town or Matsos brewery. Staff all very friendly food was great especially the bacon and eggs and eggs Benedict . Great view over the ocean and very relaxed surroundings in the gardens and pool areas.
