Spent two nights and a week later two nights. Both times not peak season so myself and friend had the 4 dorm to ourselves. Clean, quiet and relaxing. Really liked the music going on in the pool room come TV area. Lots of hammocks for lazing around, clean pool and friendly staff. Love staying at backpackers and Cabel Beach Backpackers...

I was there for a few nightts in May. The staff was really nice but that is where the positivs ends. The hostel is quite expensive, eventhough the bathroom is horrible and not really clean. The hostel is close to the beach, like all the accomodations. My advise if you stay in Broome without a car, stay in town. The...

The staff was friendly, but i felt like the abused me.. They charged me 4$ for a 0,5 bottle of water because i came 5 minutes before they closed the bar!...

My partner and I went on a road trip to Darwin with our little girl, we stopped off in Broome originally for a couple of days at cable Beach backpackers and we were met by amazing staff, friendly social atmosphere and a beautiful pool area. Both ourselves and our 7 yr old daughter made life long friends there. Awesome time...

Stayed here for New Years 2015-2016 this is the best place you can stay. Broome itself is a bit slow but the vibe at this place is amazing. Great pool, good advice, free body boards and a decent bar. Rock up and enjoy.

We had problems with the manager. He didnt want to listen to our problem. When we explain it he just walked a way. And because of that they canceld or free shuttle. They say if you think it is a bad hostel you dont get your free shuttle. Also the kitchen is not clean, lots of ants. I never had...

Among some of the nicest and friendliest staff you'll meet, bound with a bunch of local knowledge to share with you and advise! There are air-conditioned rooms which made our stay very relaxing. There isn't air-con anywhere else in the hostel though (making the kitchen extremely hot and humid in wet season) - I would advise showering after making dinner!)...
