We wanted to try out some restaurants and bars in this part of the city so took advantage of the location of this hotel. The size and finish of the rooms was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our view to the north from a high floor and would be happy to stay again. Our room was very quiet.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at this hotel for one night. Hotel was clean, tidy and quiet. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Nespresso machine and pods provided. We didn’t notice much road noise. No onsite restaurant was a bit of a let down as well as no onsite parking, however location makes up for not having these. Secure Car park is within walking distance (approx 300m). Dining options in Perth city or Northbridge a short walk. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Room was good and no complaints at all. Breakfast however was rubbish and possibly the worst hotel buffet breakfast I've ever experienced. Very limited selection and what was there was either undercooked or tasteless. They'd also run out of a lot of stuff when I arrived so I had to wait for the bowls to be refilled.

I wish I could rate them 0 stars. The room was okay, but the bathroom was discussing with a cheap shower curtain all stained on the bottom. The breakfast was very limited and the staff was disorganized. I had to ask to for a clean plate and cutlery to serve my breakfast and the food was average with with a limited selection. Overall it was expensive and terrible service.

Staff were friendly and helpful on check in, large room, comfortable but fairly tired - the room pictures online were for me, a bit better than the reality, Only real gripe was the shower pressure which was really poor - it was like having a shower under a garden hose that was barely turned on.

We upgraded to an executive room, which was very comfortable. We could not get near enough to the hotel on arrival to park and check in. There is a small very narrow lane way that runs from Wellington St to Murray St with no indication of which way the traffic flows. We parked up eventually on Murray St in a multi storey and fortunately our one suit case was easily wheeled the 100 metres or so to the hotel. The hotel info was all available on the room tv screen. I checked breakfast times and saw it was served up to 10-30 am on a weekend. Next morning we arrived at breakfast at 9-45 am. The waiter looked somewhat taken aback. There was only enough orange juice for 1 person, the tank on the tea maker was dry, there was no butter or bacon. The water tank was refilled, butter produced. The chef lifted the lid of the scrambled eggs and they looked disgusting. I asked the waiter if we could have a fried egg. He had to go find the chef. He cooked the eggs, burnt on the bottom runny white on the top. My breakfast at a cost of $30 consisted of one slice of toast 3 mushrooms, half a scoop of congealed baked beans and half of a very sad looking tomato, plus the delicious burnt egg, one cup of black tea. I heard the waiter and chef grumbling together about breakfast times and their attitude prevented me from complaining and asking for fresh food. It transpired that breakfast time had been changed to finish at 10am. The receptionist enlightened me as we checked out next day. There was still a sign on reception saying that breakfast on a weekend lasted until 10 -30am. Needless to say we breakfasted elsewhere next day. It's a soul less hotel, with about as much vibe as a grave yard. We used the fantastic bar of the new Novotel directly behind Rydges. I also found we could have stayed there at a cheaper rate! Will not be returning.

Extremely comfortable room (and bed) in a great central location at a good price. I wasn’t driving, so parking wasn’t an issue for me, but there is no on-site parking. They do have an agreement with a car park a short distance away, and from what I saw, this works quite well. My room faced Wellington St, so I thought there may be some potential noise, but I certainly wasn’t bothered by traffic.

This hotel is ideally placed in easy walking distance to the central railway station and bus terminal. There was a mix up with our booking and the front office staff were only to pleased to be of help sorting out the problem. The breakfast menu did leave a lot to be improved

Overnight stay for a concert at the RAC Arena. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Breakfast was superb. There is no direct parking facilities and to drop off luggage and check in cost me a $60 fine because while I thought I had paid for ticket less street parking it turns out I had not. Doh... There is no restaurant in the hotel, so meals need to be outsourced, except for breakfast. All in all it was a perfectly priced city staycation. Will definitely stay again but will ensure street parking is actually paid.

Good service, comfortable and quiet large room in a good location. Seems to be newly built, across the road from the RAC Arena and a short walk to Northbridge. Highly recommended if you are staying in Perth. They offer a breakfast but I didn’t try it on this trip.
