Somewhat difficult to find, being nestled on a residential street, the Sherilee Backpacker Hotel may be just what you're looking for, should you have a reason to visit Perth in Western Australia. Offering a shared kitchen and private bedrooms, this hotel may be the least expensive accommodation available anywhere in town and also includes free and reliable Wi-Fi internet. One...

Location is great. Apart from that, everything else was rather disappointing. Kitchen and bathrooms are dirty. There is a schedule for room cleaning but our room was never cleaned on the day it was supposed to be cleaned. Most staff are unfriendly and not helpful. Wifi connection is poor and only works in the common area. Too much noise from...

Nice hostel, with a family touch; clean and quite, Good position and really confy bed. I went with all the family and I found it good not for back packers only. I would reccomand to book a room on the bathroom side.

The guy who checked me in - when he was available - gave me wrong information on a few things and his way of communicating was unpleasant and too aggressive. I also do not appreciate being called "sweetie" and "honey" continuously by a random dude I don't know. I was placed in a room with two long term guests, sorry...

Stayed in the Shiralee for a little over two weeks. The place is mostly occupied by longterm backpackers which, in my eyes, creates a nice atmosphere. Nice and quiet in evenings since most people have to work the next day. Facilities are very clean and there are enough facilities to keep yourself entertained if no one else is around. City...

the day manager, d., is a huge problem. as long as he is in duty, shiralee is not suitable for travellers. worst case: i asked for earlier checkout at 8am to get a ride to the next destination. answer: "reception opens 9am, bro". and the 29th december is a public holiday (lie). "i have a diner tonight, the boss is...

I stayed for one week and the hostel was quite full. Mainly with young people working in the area. Rooms, bathrooms and toilets were all clean. Plenty of hot water and a huge kitchen which just about works for the number of people all trying to cook at once. This is a lively hostel and well situated close to the...
