Loved this hotel. We've stayed in many Perth hotels including the Como, Hilton, pan pacific etc and this was the best overall experience. Great check in staff (although my one quibble was poor knowledge of the package we'd booked - ours included a welcome drink but this was forgotten until I reminded them). Nice bar area, great room - quiet and high quality. Sensational breakfast. Loved it all.

1 star service for a 5 star hotel. Beware if coming with kids. - Booked directly through hotel website and requested for a baby cot in our booking. Checked-in at 8.30pm, no cot was in the room. Only after a total of 3 calls and more than an hour later did the cot arrive. No apologies from concierge. - Our baby vomited in the cot at 2am. Called concierge to ask for housekeeping to come immediately to change cot and clean up vomit on the floor. Again, it took a long time and I had to call a second time to remind them again. Housekeeping came with a new cot and nothing to clean the floor. What's going on with their communication?? Housekeeping left and came back with just a dry cloth to wipe the vomit from the carpet, leaving the whole room smelling of vomit. We were exhausted by then. - No kids cutlery at all in the whole hotel, which is shocking for a 5-star hotel. It was most unacceptable that we had to wait such a long time for the baby cot when it was already requested at point of booking, and it's not like we had an early check-in. Complained about this to concierge, breakfast team, no remedy whatsoever. Shocking standards of service for Westin, truly disappointing. Should have been forewarned when my friend told me she waited 3h for check-in (not an early check-in by the way) with her baby in tow.

Great experience, glad we stayed here! We were on the 28th (top) floor in a Club King room with views looking east over the Cathedral, could see the river, stadiums and as far as the hills. Underground parking. Luxurious couch, bed, bathroom - deep bath, separate rain shower. Service around the hotel was excellent. Very quiet and didn’t feel busy at all. Perfect for relaxation. Spent time at the pool reading and enjoying some sunshine. Loved the modern decor and artwork of the hotel as well as some history around the area. Walking distance to anywhere. Club lounge and Garum (breakfast) had nice food and drinks options - catered for Gluten Free but not amazing - room for improvement there. Lounge atmosphere was quiet, perhaps a little more upbeat music, but only a minor thing. Otherwise, very happy with our choice to stay here for the first time. Good times, didn’t want to leave. Thank you!

Had a wonderful overnight stay for my Mum’s 75th birthday celebration at the Westin Perth. It started with convenient parking in the basement of the hotel (no valet parking available on the day but a very willing concierge service). The staff at check-in were very polite and efficient and we were able to check in at 2pm. We dropped our cases to a very spacious twin room on the 21st floor, with beautiful views of the city and to the east, and headed to Bodhi Spa located on the 5th floor of the Westin for the Bodhi Restore treatment. This was probably the best spa experience I’ve had in Perth since emigrating 16 years ago. Starting with a 30 minute steam then a 60min massage followed by a glass of sparkling wine, herbal tea, fruit and chocolate relaxing in the very tranquil surroundings. Bodhi spa gifted my mum a bottle of wine for her birthday. Very relaxed, we headed back to our room to get ready for dinner and to our surprise the hotel had left a bottle of sparkling wine as a birthday gift for mum mum….she felt very spoiled. In the evening we dined at nearby Post in State Buildings which was fabulous and highly recommended before enjoying a fantastic nights rest and a leisurely wake up. We wanted to make the most of the facilities so had a dip in the pool in the morning before heading to Garum for a delicious breakfast. Once again the staff in Garum were very pleasant and welcoming. Very full, we gathered up our belongings and headed to reception for 11am checkout. Again, we were surprised by the offer of complimentary parking which rounded off a fantastic overnight experience. Thank you to the Westin staff for making my mums birthday one she will remember (even some of the guests wished my mum happy birthday), she felt very special.

I usually love the Westin, but on this occasion I was very disappointed. We stayed from Saturday to Sunday and where allocated a room on the 7th floor. Unfortunately directly under our room was a wedding event and I was unable to find sleep until after 1am! The music was so loud it kept me awake all night. I notified the customer service but they didn’t help solving the problem. I also called customer service earlier for a second blanket but that never arrived either. Won’t be back in a rush!

- it was a nice hotel however they had issues with the house keeping team. - Despite pressing the button for 'make my room' and informing the reception prior to leaving the hotel, when we came back the rooms were not done. The times prior when the rooms were done it was not cleaned properly so i had a word with the manager after which the rooms were cleaned properly. - We had access to the lounge in which the service and the cleanliness was really good. - The bfast spread and food was again really good. - overall it was a nice hotel with some improvement required in the house keeping area

This is a wonderful, well maintained hotel in the central business district of Perth. It has large rooms with comfy beds and large picture windows! The bathrooms feature rainfall showers and all the toiletries you expect from the Westin chain. The gym is large and well equipped. The pool, overlooking, the city from the fifth floor is refreshing. Guests are greeted with a glass of Prosecco at check-in. BUT: The hotel is understaffed. The executive lounge is unmanned and guests are now provided breakfast in the main buffet restaurant, Garum. The pool is unattended and the pool bar is closed. There’s a phone and a menu to call for limited service. There is No Concierge! The hat is unheard of at Westin properties. We had to wait 25 minutes for a porter to help with bags at checkout. Great hotel with less than great service due to lack of staffing.

decided to try the club benefits room at the Westin as we are regular club rooms guest at the crown though it would be interesting to compare what a disappointment we got the club king room on the 25 floor beautiful room very well design and modern furnishings and fab views of east Perth very comfortable bed and quiet went into the executive lounge for evening drinks and hors d'oeuvre on the 3rd floor the room was lovely very comfortable with views of building including a derelict building which I just didn't understand why it was on level 3 the staff was great and very friendly the wines ok a bit average but the food or lack of it was a big let down they could do much more by simply offering finger food however the most disappointing experience was at breakfast where you had no option of breakfast ie in the lounge or Garum you had to go to Garum it was so busy and just chaotic you just had to have the buffet and if you wanted something of the menu you had to pay extra and that includes barista coffee, the coffee machine that provided coffee was undrinkable I was shocked I have never stayed in a club a room with this type of service, the staff was so busy we had no idea what was going on there was no explanation we won't be going back to the Westin and would not recommend the club benefits and will stick with the crown towers club rooms as the cost was similar and you get so much more

This is definately NOT a five star hotel!!! Checkin states 1500hr room not ready till 1600hr - was informed we would be called when room ready - NO ONE called we had to ask if room was ready. Paid $630 for room - given dirty towels that looks like had been used to clean the floors - shampoo containers were empty, no teabags and carpet and tables not cleaned as food still present. Called down to reception and spoke with a lady and her care factor was zero. Definately wont be coming back!!!

For the price we paid ($609) very below expectations. We usually go to the Crown but couldn’t get in, so thought this would be the next best thing - how very very wrong we were. Club lounge - very disappointing; don’t waste your money. Drinks ran out, food: curry, rice and crackers. We were only there for less than an hour. Breakfast - below average. Staff too busy. Also didn’t expect to be in the main restaurant when you pay for club lounge. Couldn’t have a relaxing breakfast as you felt as if they needed your table for the next guest as they were so busy. Receptionist - didn’t seem happy. Room - you have to personally ask for toothbrushes as they aren’t automatically in your room. 1 large bath towel - when there’s clearly 2 people staying. And don’t forget the extra $40 to park your car. On a positive - the beds are really comfortable.

Room Tip: Go to the Crown Towers - similar price but a 100% better. Crystal club is by far the best...
