QT Perth is a modern, stylish hotel that receives consistent praise for its cleanliness, particularly the immaculate bathrooms and chic decor. While the central location is a hit with guests eager to explore Perth, some reviewers find the extra costs for parking and other amenities somewhat diminish the hotel's value.
The professional service and luxurious rooms are highlights, yet there are occasional mentions of minor issues and underwhelming aspects, such as the limited rooftop bar hours and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Hotel's Favourite
I enjoyed the stay at the QT Perth. Beautiful fun vibe throughout the hotel, I was happy to come back to the hotel after the long day at conference. Great location for the CBD area and walking distance to the convention centre. The room was very beautifully decorated and clean, spacious and quiet. I will definitely stay here again when I travel to Perth.

What a hidden gem of a hotel. You can easily walk past this modern building without even realising it is a hotel, due to the lack of signage or grand entrance. Once inside however, you enter a very smart, dimly lit sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Perth City.
The rooms follow a similar dark theme, but with an abundance of subtle lighting both in the room and bathroom, which create a calm and inviting atmosphere. There are many useful features, including nightlights, so you do not wake your partner if you need to get up during the night. The bed has a very deep, supremely comfortable mattress. Extras also include a coffee maker.
The other outstanding feature of this boutique hotel is the staff. Without exception we found all were totally professional, while being friendly and keen to help in any way they can.
The Restaurant becomes very busy (and noisy) in the evening, but we found the food to be very good. Again, the staff were friendly and very efficient.
We were not tempted by the food offered at breakfast, as they do not offer a buffet of full English/Australian breakfast. (Sorry QT) We therefore turned right out of the hotel entrance and walked down Murray Street to the end of the block. Here we found The European Hotel, by Miss Maud. They offer an excellent buffet breakfast. It is certainly not European, but English/American/Australian, with a full range of cooked and cold options. All were of good quality. The full buffet with tea or coffee is priced at Aus$29.00. Not only was the food good, but the service was also excellent.
Having stayed in several Perth hotels over the years (we first visited a very different Perth over 30 years ago), The QT will now be our first choice.

Excellent location right on the shopping mall and the rooms are amazing!
Free movies and late checkout was an added bonus.
Bath is huge, takes about 40 minutes to fill but is well worth it.
Parking fills up quick but plenty of parking close by, my car needed at least 2.1m which the hotel offers but was full. Managed to find a Wilson parking not far from the hotel.
Hotel also feels secure at night, given the location the fact the hotel doors close and require key access is a good feature.

Amazing hotel. Everything they have done here, they’ve done it well. Interiors were phenomenal. From moody lighting to hard wood floors, marble bathrooms and free standing baths with only the softest of black bath robes to compliment. What’s not to love? Staff were excellent. Service was excellent. I asked last minute for a table at the hotel resturant and they were able to accomodate - even though they were booked out. The food at the Santini Grill was OK. But a little overpriced for the quality and flavour. This I only mention because if you’re ordering two mains that are both over $45 (we had the steak and the duck) you expect them to be exceptional and they kind of fell short. We also had to order additional sides, as the mains came without anything else on the plate. Which was fine. But the sides were just OK as well. (We had the artichokes and the Italian potatoes). However, the waitress and maitre d’ were attentive and smiley which made the expirience all the more cosy in the dimly lit, ultra romantic setting. We also thought that the barman bringing over the drinks was a great touch and we loved that the cocktail came out in a matte black and metal martini glass. For us it was the details that makes this hotel a ‘must stay’. So overall, I’m still giving the QT 5 stars as we had a fantastic stay and as someone who’s super picky, I cannot fault it. I only wish I took more photos to share with you! Clean, stunning hotel. Have already recommended the QT to two other couples. Can’t wait to stay here again. I’m obsessed!

Great location unfortunately no parking but from Friday 1pm until 11am Sun only cost $30 to park in Pier Street car park about 2 mins walk away. Car park gets locked at night so car was safe. Hotel was okay check in and check out very easy and quick. We had a room on the 14th floor with a bath & shower but it was very dark with not enough lighting to put make up on. Roof top bar was lovely but very busy we had to leave on Sat @ 5pm as there was no tables available and made do with the pub at the top of the hill. Breakfast first day was a disaster we waited 40 mins for two plates of toast and eggs. There were only 2 tables being served one had about 10 women at it and they mixed up all their orders making us wait, they did bring out complimentary muesli for everyone after 40 mins which we declined as we just wanted our breakfast. Next day was much better service was quick with a complimentary Prosecco after explaining what had happened previously. Overall a very nice hotel which could do with some minor adjustments.

+1
This hotel is just what Perth needs. It’s almost got that New York vibe when you walk in. Dark woods and plush velvet furniture in the lobby. The staff are friendly and overly ready to help you check in which took less than 5 mins including a description on the hotel. Unfortunately due to Covid the 18th floor roof top bar and restaurant was closed but the hotel makes up for it in other ways like the beautifully decorated rooms. The rooms are large and like the lobby are dark wood floors, and black marble bathrooms. The rooms are so spacious. My only down side was the view but I can’t have an issue as it is an inner city hotel and there is more to do than look out a hotel window. The Murray and hay street malls are literally across the road and maybe 5 minute walk down to Elizabeth quay . Loved my stay and will surely be back again

I will start by saying my husband booked this as a last minute night away for my birthday.
The hotel lobby on entry is very nice.
We were greeted by a lovely lady who checked us in. Our room was on the 7th floor and was very nice I have no complaints about the room at all. The only thing is that the quality of the toilet paper wasn’t the best it was definitely budget.
We decided we would have a drink in the room from the mini bar but couldn't find a price list. We drank a bottle each anyway.
Next we went to level 1 for dinner which was a set menu due to covid 19. We said it was fine but the lady decided to tell us we could go to our room for room service or go to the bar where we could have pizza. We told her that we wanted to dine in the restaurant and we were happy with the set menu. The starters were lovely no complaints. The main course left a lot to be desired. The steak was chewy and very fatty we both left most of it. On looking around we were not the only ones who left our steak. The dessert was pleasing you can’t go wrong with cheesecake.
We went up to the rooftop bar for 1 drink before we went back to our room. I would recommend a visit to the rooftop bar.
For breakfast the following morning the selection was minimal they had ran out of a few things. You could have a complimentary drink with breakfast and anything else including table water was an additional charge.
Check out was not a great experience. We waited in line and watched the lady Checkout people before us. She was rude and arrogant and didn’t make eye contact at all.
Also a little note is the rooms do not come with Complimentary water which Is something else I have never came across.
Honestly not the experience I have ever experienced before especially from a 5* hotel.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a large smile and welcoming staff, check in was easy and the sensational design and classy feel made me feel like I was on a holiday for sure. The walk to the room was amazing and the rooms were amazing.. Bed super comfortable, bathroom to die for and the rooftop Bar and food was 11/10 - Location was a short stroll to the river or Northbridge and I absolutely loved it...

My daughter and I stayed here for her 6th birthday. She chose to have a mummy daughter night away and I’m glad we chose the QT. The girl on checkin when we arrived was lovely and let us check in early. I had balloons delivered from a outside company and the QT staff had set them up to surprise my daughter on her arrival into the room, there was also a happy birthday message from the QT staff with a little bowl of rocky road which was a lovely touch! The room was beautiful and we were given a room with a wonderful view over Murray street and to the bell tower so I am very thankful for that. I requested a room with a bath and my daughter loved having a giant bubble bath. It was a very special weekend for her and I look forward to returning again.
The only cons were- the room service menu was a little limited with no kids option aka Mac n cheese, spaghetti. Also the cafe down stairs had a limited menu which was a little disappointing. I ordered a croissant but it wasn’t served with butter so just a little underwhelming.
HOWEVER all the pros greatly outweighed any cons and I’ll 100% be back again!! Loved our stay at QT. Thankyou for making it special. Great customer service from all the staff!
And Thankyou to the staff for being so kind in wishing my daughter happy birthday when she told literally every one of you that it was her birthday 😅

Room was lovely, great location and stylish hotel. There was a bit of confusion upon check in as we had booked with luxury escapes. The staff member informed us we had booked for November when my email stated that we had booked for July so I'm not sure what that was about, but it shocked me. Also, we were told that our first drinks with food on the rooftop was 20% off, however we found out this wasn't applied to our bill upon checking out as well as the breakfast which was meant to be included. Very small things that could easily be improved upon. Apart from this, the room was very nice and comfortable, the decor was tasteful and thoughtful. Would stay again.

The CPP across the road might have this! It is pretty much just across the road from the hotel.
I didn't use valet parking, you can check the Web site for more information.
Yes the lift does require room key for entry to the rooms & facilities. If you just want to go to the roof top bar as a visitor, there is usually someone there to allow you access. :-)
No, QT Perth does not have a pool onsite unfortunately.
