As Hilton members, we ❤️ these hotels...normally. Great check in, however without asking, we were given a disabled room for our 3 day romantic getaway. We have no requirement for such a room and should have been given a choice. We booked with 'breakfast included' did not find out till breakfast that this was a continental breakfast only. We loved the location and the room was clean. We did have to call for loo paper as none was put in our room - but this is not a worry. We will stay again, but please ask first if a person is OK to be in a disabled room - we felt that this should be held for someone who needs it and we were not particularly happy using it. Good parking near by & you can not fault Two Fat Indian restaurant on site. Thanks guys! Hopefully better next time.

Location - smack in the middle of nightlife area in Northbridge; about 10 min walk to Elizabeth Quay. Staff - excellent, no complaints. Room - we were assigned room 1205 - beautiful room , very modern with great city view . The only complaint I had was the design of the closet - it was placed in between bathroom and main room , and the step up to walk into closet is a safety hazard - just a bad design . But overall very nice room Breakfast- complementary for Diamond members. Noting too special but very good quality. Parking - no parking at hotel . Hotel recommended city parking lot at 68 Roe St, but on weekend nights, that parking lot should be avoided at all costs ( way too congested). We ended up finding street parking for free on a Fri night at Beaufort and Aberdeen (8 min walk away), and on Sat night , we used city parking lot at 2 Roe St which was convenient and inexpensive ($10 to park car there from 6:30 pm on a Sat night to noon on Sunday) In summary, excellent hotel, but very noisy and busy at weekend nights due to abundance of bars/ clubs in the area…

Located in James st. Northbridge. Easy access to train station, parking off Roe st. Bars, clubs and restaurants and a food court all close by. Staff are welcoming & rooms clean & well maintained. Become a Hiltons member to get best rate and a late checkout. It is in a vibrant part of Perth so expect a few characters floating around but you won't be bored.

The accommodation was beautiful, extremely clean and smelt lovely. Facilities were awesome. Customer service was brilliant, only suggestion would be to supply basic cutlery (knives and forks) in rooms for those that chose to have takeaways . Highly recommend and will definitely return

Excellent customer service at reception and restaurant, rooms very clean and well appointed. This will continue to be my accommodation of choice in Perth/Northbridge. The locaiton of the hotel makes it conveneint for transport and hospitality as well as easy access to the Perth CBD.

The hotel has an excellent location, you can be in town or at the train station in a few minutes. The communication was a bit bumpy, but thanks to Sinan, the operation manager, it worked (at least at the beginning) and we got a very nice room on the top floor. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the service there is also excellent. Unfortunately, communication didn't work at all during our stay: there was only one mini bottle of shower gel for 2 people and we had to beg for a second bottle every day. But after an embaressing chat with the reception we bought our own shower gel. This was incredible for a hotel with this high rates! Sinan promised me SEVERAL times that the Hilton Rewards points would be rounded up at the end of our stay, but this was an empty promise, because despite repeated inquiries, nothing happened. Please note: the Indian restaurant in the house is NOT part of the hotel! Although the hotel advertises this restaurant in the rooms and thus suggests that as a Diamond Member you get a discount and Hilton Rewards for the amount you spent there, you only find out when you pay the bill that the restaurant has nothing to do with the Doubletree. If we had known that beforehand we wouldn't have gone there, especially since the service there was more than bad, we clearly felt cheated.…

Staff are friendly and attentive. Gym, pool and restaurant area is nice. There was a couple of room issues. The toilet had obviously been used by a previous guest for a big vomit. It was still caked on the front of the bowl in part (possibly out of site of the cleaner) which wasn't great. The room had some tired features e.g. a pretty stubborn and crumpled looking blind over the window. Not the end of the world, just some feedback as requested.

This hotel is amazing. Not only the location in central north bridge but James and his staff could not have gone out of our way to make us feel so welcome. Each time we went out and came back the staff always made us welcome saying good bye enjoy the day and welcome back. Breakfast was a great way to start the day with friendly staff as always.
