This is the second time I have stayed at the Double Tree and it is brilliant. Lovely staff and very clean rooms with great views, the cost of the rooms is definitely worth it. The hotel is located in a very central area so it's easy to get to the train station and around Northbridge and Perth. I will definitely be staying here again and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the city.

One of my favourite stays in a hotel to date, excellent facilities around the hotel as well as the rooms. Gorgeous, spacious and very luxurious for an affordable price! Can hear the night life from your room which is the only downfall however expected in the location, was still a fabulous stay.

Our stay was ruined by the noise of the nightclubs. We were expecting some noise on Saturday night but unfortunately on Sunday there was a festival too and we could hear the beat well so we didn’t have much sleep both nights. We were on the 11th floor but we found that the windows didn’t have a good soundproof capacity. Also, there was an issue with the signal for the TV so we couldn’t watch it properly. Overall, we didn’t have a pleasurable stay.

Dear Laura, Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience. I am sorry to hear that you were disturbed by noises from outside of the hotel. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused; we are currently working with City of Perth to try and limit the excessive noise in the area. Also, I am sorry to hear that your guest room was anything less than perfect; I will get our Engineering Team to take a look straight away. We appreciate your feedback as it allows us to identify areas we do well in and where we can improve. We hope to welcome you back to our hotel in the not too distant future. Sincerely, Mohammed Limdiwala, Hotel Manager

The room was good, adequate but a bit small. Found some of the missing features in the room a bit uncomfortable - firstly there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, no toilet brush and also there was no bag in the bin. Seems simple but I found it a bit odd and not nice for the reasons you might need these things for! Loved the option of the rainfall and the normal shower. It was a very nice touch! The noise level was quite high but being a Saturday night in Northbridge this was to be expected. It was dulled out a bit as we were so high up, but it didn't fully go away until 3am! I found it also a bit strange there was no information booklet in the room to tell you where things were in the hotel, about the facilities, room information and how to call reception etc. Another annoyance of the room was the automated lights in the wardrobe, they clicked on and off during our stay, assuming they were activated by a monitor sensor! The bed I found comfortable, but my husband found the pillows and mattress very soft and uncomfortable, this obviously is an individual thing as everyone likes different pillows etc. So unfortunately, he didn't sleep very well. The bed only had a duvet and no sheets which again was a bit strange. The pool area is lovely with a great view. Downside being if you want to order any food or drinks, the bar at the pool area is closed, and you have to call down to get any food/drinks. I was told the pool was heated, when it clearly is not! It was bearable but mostly due to the cool breeze making you want to keep your shoulders in the pool. The buffet breakfast was really good, but the extra $25 per person was very expensive as we didn't find a price for the room and breakfast. Another big issue was the parking - we called in advance to ask about parking, to be told that the hotel has a deal with City of Perth Parking. We were directed where to park. On check out the staff memeber validated our ticket and we drove our car to the exit to be declined exit, the boom gate display showing "Ticket not paid". We had to then get out of the car and call for help and pay $24 for parking!! We were very annoyed as none of this was explained to us. If we have to pay for our own parking, the staff should explicitly explain this and not offer to validate our ticket. When I called to raise this I was told the validation was linked to the length of stay and that's the deal the hotel has with the parking facilities. This makes no sense as another couple stayed at the hotel, did not validate their ticket and still paid $24! The hotel was very nice with welcoming staff . They were informative and answered our questions. The offer of the cookie on check in was a nice bonus. Also we mentioned it was our anniversary and we had 2 chocolates and a little sign in our room saying "Happy Anniversary" which was a nice personal touch. Overall, we did really enjoy our stay as we had a kid-free night away in a great location and lovely hotel. The convenience of location was one of the attractions to the hotel along with the pool with the fabulous view.

Good Morning, I’m just writing to leave some feedback about my stay on Saturday night. I booked a king guest room and when I arrived I was told after waiting for 10-15 minutes that they put us into a twin bed room accidentally Instead of the king. My and my partner are in a long distance relationship and he was down visiting me for the weekend so we specifically booked a nice night away and single beds was really not ideal. We were told there were no other rooms and they were fully Booked for that night so they were unable to swap us (even though there was availability online). They said they would charge less for the room and throw in 2 free breakfasts for the inconvenience. Then when we went to breakfast there was nothing wrote down or communicated to the team that this was offered to us and then we had to wait longer as the staff at breakfast had no idea and said we had to pay. After more waiting they said it should be okay but they have nothing wrote down to say this was given to us for free. Then at checkout we got our bond back and after leaving we realised we still paid the same Price as booked for and no discount was given at all for any of the inconveniences. Just overall very disappointing and lack of communication between staff made the situation ever worse after the initial Disappointment.
