Amazing hotel - great vibe, great service and modern rooms. This hotel makes me feel at home with team members (Roberto, James, Sinan, Mo, Bella to name a few) always going above and with a smile.

The rooms are modern and well appointed - light and bright in the day and with block out blinds and curtains for the night. Beds are super comfortable with big pillows.

The bathroom has a great well lit mirror, shower has great water pressure and the handwash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner are all Crabtree and Evelyn - wonderful!

I've stayed in Perth, at the Waterfront but keep coming back to Doubletree Northbridge because of the great vibe, James St Bar and Kitchen (fabulous breakfast, cocktails) and the staff who give amazing customer service!

A refined service that left us feeling well taken care of during our stay.

The service began prior to check-in when we received a text message asking if we required anything to make our stay more comfortable. A special thanks to James who assisted.

We stayed in the ‘King Deluxe Executive Room Panoramic View’, which included access to the club level. We found the room to be spacious, and the lounge to be well appointed with excellent service during the drinks and canapés time (6pm to 8pm).

The location is surrounded by local restaurants that serve several different cuisines.

We found the hotel really separates itself by service. Each time we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by the DoubleTree Team. Our requests had been fulfilled (including an early check-in). Canapés and breakfast service found the servers to be attentive and very friendly.

We have already booked in to stay again this month, and it would be an easy to choice to book here during your next stay!

We were very impressed with Doubletree. The rooms were spacious and clean, we enjoyed the views of the city and appreciated the location - within walking distance to all attractions or situated right on top of the bus lines. The staff were all very friendly but we were especially impressed by James on the front desk.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton. This time however my overall rating has dropped significantly. Staff service overall was fast, efficient & professional and always with a smile. For a fee we were upgraded to a 15th storey room with a view. Very comfortable beds, pillows and great rain shower. But a number of things could be improved and and suggestions are as follows to make the whole experience more enjoyable.

1. The size of the empty mini bar is a little ridiculous. If it's too small to hold a standard size bottle of wine upright, then it's way too small.

2. The toiletries supplied were very limited. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps and grooming kit were all absent, and what was supplied was in tiny quantities. In a high star and quality company like Hilton you would expect more.

3. Making up of the room during our stay...there was none. We stayed more than one night and I understand COVID is high in everybodies' minds, but considering Perth has not had any community transfer for several 100 days, it is not really a valid reason to not make the bed, tidy the room, replace soap, towels, toilet tissue.

4. Breakfast at $25 a head was a major let down. Coffee from a vending machine is not what you expect at that price range. The self-serve coffee dispensed was average at best, but on top of this the machine stopped working several times during one breakfast sitting. Food was okay, not outstanding, but okay (if you like your poached eggs hard as a golf ball this is the place to come).

5. T.V. On one of the two nights we stayed the TV cut out 5 or 6 times in a three to four hour period for a minute or two at a time. Not conducive to good viewing.

6. Room service meals were ok however bring your own bottle opener as our request for one to be left in the room for beer was denied for unknown reasons.

Conclusion
We had an enjoyable getaway and on the whole we liked the break. However we do expect more from Hilton, especially at the prices charged. Average.

Hotel is in a great spot and close to so many amenities, including a short walk into town and a little further to the river. Plenty on immediate offer, clubs/bars/restaurants just a very short stroll from the front door. The hotel and room were very clean and service pleasant and cheery. Room was a good size and bright with great city views from higher up. And the bed was as comfy as you will get. Parking is a two minute walk away in a city car-park and available at discounted rate at $24/day for guests. Now for the niggles. The noise (from clubs/bars) was not too disruptive, though we were on floor 14 of 15. Only a slight base thump until 5.00am but not enough to disturb sleep so I suggest opting for a more loftier room. The pool is small so when crowded it was a bit like sharing a bath with 15 or so other people. Obviously space is limited, so that's understandable. House keeping though . . . bit of a non-event. Returned after a day out (1.30pm) room not cleaned/replenished so inquired at front desk. They said they would attend to it while we went to "the pool." Still not done by 3.00pm so rang and told them not to bother cleaning room, just to replenish towels/toilet roll/soap etc and empty bin (this was our second day there). Eventually some shampoo and tea bags arrived at 4.15pm. No towels. No toilet roll. Bins weren't emptied. If you want your bin emptied, I suggest you leave it by the lift. Ours was emptied within 15 minutes this way. And . . . BYO toilet roll! Also; at $285/night, a complimentary news paper would have been nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely and classy Doubletree Hilton Northbridge was despite its location. I was pre-warned by friends it could be noisy, but having booked a room on a higher level, noise was not a problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Security after hours made us feel safe from unwanted trouble entering the location. It was a birthday staycation with my daughter and The Team left a thoughtful little surprise in our room. It’s the little things that make a big difference in my book.
Room was basic, clean. Good enough as our stay was not to stay indoors all day. No parking onsite but offered discount parking rates at a multi-level carpark very close by.
Doubletree Hilton Northbridge is definitely now on my list for staycations and a pit stop when we have to stay up in Perth. Thank you for a great experience.

Located in the heart of Northbridge on James Street. A few metres from the free BlueCat shuttle bus which can take you around the main CBD streets including Elizabeth Quay and Hay Street shopping precinct. Staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly and knowledgable and made me feel like a really welcome guest. The hotel room was spotless. Very quiet with minimal noise coming up from the street on a Friday and Saturday nights

Check in and out was smooth. Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy.
The area is a bit dodgy with strip clubs and bars all around. It gets very noisy in the evening so make sure you're at a higher floor. It's worth paying extra for a "panoramic view" room that's on level 10 or higher to avoid the noise and also avoid looking at a wall outside the window. The no5 rooms are facing towards a quieter corner.
Staff is a hit or miss as some of them couldn't care less and others are attentive and polite. Out of the 3 nights we stayed, during one of them we didn't get housekeeping to clean the room. When we complained they said that it must have been missed but they weren't sure why. They did send someone up to make up the room while we were out for dinner and left a fruit platter behind; poor planning though as all the fruit were dry by the time we can back and had to be thrown out.
The breakfast is very poor and bad value for money. You pay $24pp for a mediocre buffet and vending machine coffee. Just go out and around the corner to get amazing aussie breakfast for the same price. Not worth your money.

Spent 4 nights in total. Wednesday to Sunday. Upon check in with young, snobby staff went to my room to find I was allocated a wheelchair accessible room in error. Upon my horror, room was dirty with yellow stained shower curtain. Requested room change. Next room, acceptable but full of dust everywhere (not sure what extra covid cleaning is meant to include if phone looks like it hasn't been dusted in 6 months).

First 2 nights fine, bed very comfortable. Bathroom nice and spacious with automatic blind between bedroom/shower. Room very tight with occasional chair squeezed into a corner so it was hard to access the bed from one side of the room. Housekeeping was not provided on first day and when I enquired, was told by reception I had to request it (really for the $$ spent)?

Friday and Saturday are lively nights in the area with night clubs that thump and pump music until 5am so if you are a light sleeper don't stay here. I was on the corner of Level 13 and seriously, hardly any sleep was had due to party scene down on street and club level.

Location wise - city vibe but with $2 peep show located directly across from hotel which is also surrounded by an adult shop. Friday night we returned to the hotel to have a "working lady" using the front entrance of the hotel as her meeting point and using the lobby bathroom to freshen up. Guests in the hotel were very young and I got the feeling the hotel was being used for groups to stay cheaply and party all night going in and out of the rooms in the early hours of the morning.

Live music in the bar was nice. Drinks very pricey so the in house discount promo that I was staying on definitely helped.

Breakfast in the restaurant was good but coffee machine dreadful - resembled dirty tap water in colour and smell.

Would not stay here again and would not recommend. Perhaps for 20 year olds it would be fine.

Had a fabulous extended overnight stay with the family this week and felt thoroughly spoilt by the staff's attention and the decor, comfort and extent of facilities. The 6pm late checkout is totally worth it as we really felt like we'd had a long break! The pool was smaller than expected but still fit our purpose of lounging about and refreshing ourselves. Fabulous breakfast and bonus points for the staff who went to great lengths to run through ingredients to assure us of the safety of the food for our nut-allergic daughter. Bravo Hilton!
