Very clean room, common areas are incredible (with pool, cinema and confortables rest and work areas). The only bad thing is the kitchen, it only has toasters and microwaves but the rest is perfect. Laundry room was also very clean and useful. No doubt I will stay there my next time in Perth

180 countries travelling since the 60’s & hostel G, is equal to only one other I stay in, truly amazin, the white quality of the bed linen to the helpful staff plus the cafe toasted sandwiches, all awesome.

Very central to the station and city, great beds and linen and the staff were very obliging. The lack of fridge space in the kitchen would be my only criticism. I would certainly stay here again on my return to Perth.

4 microwaves but only one gaspit. Pans and pots were so old they lost all there teflon. Everybody was eating aiki noodles over there. I hated the kitchen. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean.

Stayed in a shared room and private on two different occasions. It’s very expensive for what it offers. No curtains on the beds, kitchen with only two small gas stoves, and very dirty. You have to put your own linen. They do come to clean the rooms often. Receptionists are in a not caring mood, you can tell they are there just cause they’re being paid. Beds are extremely comfy though and that’s what’s worth it in the hostel. It’s a more quiet hostel.

Common rooms are awesome.. bed frames need maintenance for bad noise and i think its acceptable for beds to be made on arrival especially for the price. My late check in was very awkward and sheets didnt fit?

Hostel well-located. Room clean and comfortable: 4-bed women-only, ensuite bathroom. At 2:30am on second night, I was woken by a man unlocking the door and entering the room. He apologised for his mistake, but he shouldn't have been able to open the door at all. Security of key-cards obviously a problem. Also, elevator broken on 2nd day.

Location is indeed very near to town and Northbridge. We booked a family room and Rooms are clean too, only that there is no housekeeping done daily and towels are not changed daily, which we feel is not quite right since we booked a private family room with private bathroom. Also one issue we had was the noise coming from the pipes above us in the rooms, there were always water sounds from the pipes and this has somehow affected the sleep quality.

So the Hostel is quiet pricy so I was expecting something more..the staff is really friendly and helpful, the common areas are always clean, but the kitchen is a mess and the bathroom from the room was really uncomfortable and not as clean as the one in the common areas. The bed is really comfortable. There is not a single common area where you can chill as there is always much going on the hostel.

I found everything about G great! But the kitchen was severely lacking. ONE slow-to-heat double electric hotplate was not enough, and one sink. Get a few gas stoves in there and another sink at least :) There was plenty of fridge space for food, just not many cooking/preparing areas. Otherwise very relaxing and professional overall. Powerpoints to charge devices were everywhere, including the rooms. The bathrooms for each room are amazing.
