Loved our one night staycay at ritz carlton. We arrived early and were able to check in early with no fuss. When I booked there were no rooms left with a king bed and river view so had to book 2 doubles but I requested it upon check in and they sorted it for us. The room was amazing, fantastic views, very spacious, clean and modern The pool area is great, we ordered lunch and cocktails that we had poolside in the sun Went back to our room and there was a bottle of bubbly in there with a note to someone else for their anniversary which was a little strange. We were there for my husbands birthday and there was no mention of that even though I made them aware so maybe they got their notes mixed up. We ate in hearth restaurant which was delicious, although service could have been quicker!! The songbird bar was lovely- will definitely return there Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. We couldn’t order items; it was buffet only which was disappointing initially but the quality of the buffet items made up for it. We were able to continue using the facilities after check out. Wish the sauna and hydro therapy pools were not gender segregated

Sad that this was a little disappointing compared to our last stay at this hotel. The service was much slower- we had to call 3 times for the complimentary wine that took 3 hours to arrive, the towels in the room were wet on arrival and the service at breakfast was very slow. Possibly the most disappointing feature- especially when compared to other hotels in this category- is the fact that the spa and sauna space is gender segregated. As a hotel that advertises couples getaways and couples breaks- not being able to be in the same space as your partner is a huge disappointment.

The good: Nice design. Relatively new. Location is great, and the view from the room was very nice, overlooking the water. The bad: Whilst we appreciated the "welcome" we received in the room, whereby ALL the blinds were raised automatically when entering the room, this feature could not be turned off, and so when I returned to the room at night after my family had gone to sleep, all the blinds raised, disturbing everyone. I requested this feature be removed, but the only option was to disable the blinds completely. On the subject of blinds, the material used did not provide privacy from the street, so blockout blinds needed to be lowered as well. The controls to the blinds were sketchy... sometimes raising or sometimes lowering regardless of which button was pressed. It was an effort to get them to close! The key to the room did not work on the second day, and I had to stand in line for 20 mins, after which I was issued with a new key, which did not operate the lift, and so I had to return again to get this fixed. We ordered dinner in the room as the restaurant was closed. The quinoa was basically a very small sprinkle of quinoa... hardly a meal, or even a snack. The seafood pasta was served with 4 tiny prawns and 4 small scallops only. No crab or fish, as advertised. It was also extremely small, and drowned in butter. The lamb shank was okay, but nothing to write home about. The room was dusty in places. The paint was bubbling on the ceiling in places. The breakfast buffet was reasonable, however there was a swarm of small flies near the fruit. The coffee was awful, though my daughter raved about the chai latte. For a hotel of this (supposed) standard, and price, the breakfast was sub-par. There was also a guest pacing around whilst using his phone, hardly appropriate, and went unnoticed by the staff. All in all, I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone for the price, around $800 per night. They also wanted an additional $125 per night for a rollaway, however we took our own blow up mattress and sleeping bag for our daughter instead.

Definitely a beautiful hotel. Love the location right on the water spectacular views from the room. I gave this four out of five stars because when I checked in the room was still dirty I understand they have issues with staff in Australia but that’s not my issue, they had plenty of time to clean the room before I arrived. I will tell you that they took care of it and they did right by me ! I’m a platinum bonvoy member and they treated me very well! The room service people are amazing!! 6 nights stay and my breakfast everyday was fantastic! Thank to them ! My parents had a blast ! Another reason I gave it 4 stars the alarm went off at 12am and we had to walk down the stairs tons of stairs ! It was a nightmare and they gave no explanation ! My mom and dad 76 years old had to go all the way down with having heart issues! Anyway ! We enjoyed our stay and would stay again !

WOW! We loved the Ritz Carlton when we first took the kids with us but, Hello Club Lounge and an Anniversary getaway with hubby!! I knew I was looking forward to experiencing their Club Lounge and it was certainly everything I expected and more!! A self serve bar between 12-10pm and food options offered at 5 different times. The warm ambience and beautiful decor along with amazing staff who go above and beyond. Special thanks to Francois and his staff in particular, Vanessa. We will most definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time. Thanks again!

I have had the honor of being able to stay at this hotel and I am really impressed by its wonderful architecture that directly refers to the geography of Western Australia, its outstanding interior design, and a great concept within the hospitality world. Fresh, elegante, modern and elevated. I want to thank all the staff for making me feel at home, especially the guys at the Club Lounge, my favorite spot to relax and enjoy sunsets overlooking the river while holding my fav sparkling wine! Couldn’t be more happy with the room I had, everything on point, impeccable! I strongly recommended it. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much The Ritz Carlton Perth!

The buffet breakfast at Hearth Restaurant is very good. I enjoyed the fruit, bread, many hot dishes to choose from, the service is very high standard, the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Five stars for this buffet 🥞✨🥧🧁🍥🥫

We came for a mini staycation and werw very impressed. The room was fabulous with a great view. The staff were friendly and attentive even though it was a busy Friday evening. They only offer a set menu in the restaurant which was disappointing. They had a limited menu in the lounge but the food was good. The buffet breakfast was also very nice. We will definitely be stating again.

My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary 'staycation'. The room and the view was magnificent. We especially want to thank Livia from customer service who helped us with the choice of room on the day of check in, and also managed to get us a late check out. She was so easy to communicate with and incredibly professional and friendly. One complaint was the noise. The doors to all the rooms close very loudly, which woke us up through the night and the next morning. Also, the cleaners were working on the room above us at 9am (Tuesday morning) which was very noisy. Pool area was lovely.

Total bait and switch. If you’ve ever stayed at a Ritz you’ll agree that this is nothing like a Ritz. This is a failed attempt at luxury. Poor design & functionality in the SUITES. Charge ports by the beds don’t work (in multiple rooms), the clothes shelves and hanging rods (not actual closets) in the bathroom have poor lighting & only 1 shelve for suite case, any others go on the floor. Because of the bad architecture/design you can see right into other rooms from the windows, there’s no space on bathroom counters, the gym is lacking amenities & mirrors, the pool is small with chairs super cramped together & the entire hotel hotel smells like fried fish (ventilation issues I guess). They don’t even offer a house car. The point of paying more & staying at a NEW luxury property is for the comfort, service & ease. This hotels is a fail on those points. It’s like putting a hood ornament on a Ford & calling it a Rolls Royce.
