Absolutely love this hotel. Everything about it is gorgeous and I can't wait to go back. Room and lobby were very nice, hotel is in a great location and would love to return asap. Very expensive so unfortunately can only go for special occasions but this is well worth the money and my favourite hotel in Perth.

One night stay with an Amex FHR stay booked with Amex Platinum travel credit and a small copay. Last in Perth in 2019 but didn't visit Elizabeth Quay. This is a well situated hotel for water views and waterfront eating and walks. I'm new to Ritz Carlton as a Marriot Gold, and the luxury awaits, on par with Hilton's Waldorf Astoria range eg WA Jerusalem, WA Berlin. Arrival hall reminiscent on a minor scale of Qatar Airways Al SAFWA First Lounge in Doha. Friendly and efficient wheckin with the agent explaining everything including Marriott Gold benefits as well as Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts benefits (free breakfast 4pm checkout US$100 hotel credit (AU$140)and a noon checkin upon availability (it was this day) and an upgraded rrom at checkin To my delight I was upgraded to a Larger Studio higher floor with Eliz Quay view. WOW The room has privacy blinds as well as dark out blinds in both the studio and bathroom These autoclose if you are out of the room for a few hours important since it's floor to ceiling glass in bathroom and studio Good aircon also important since room warms up when it is sunny. Walk in closet and a massive bathroom with rainfall shower and a nice big soaking tub Nice amenities, fridge with room to store your own things coffee maker and a kettle Luxurious Zwiesel crystal ware. Wall mounted TV with folding scissors to allow viewing in different areas of the studio and Frette towels linens and bathrobes (I like my Frette) Super quiet room with silent aircon. Whilst unpacking a delivery of a Gratis bottle of West Aussie sparkling white with a note from GM Dario Orsini, similar to my stay at Hilton Parmelia Perth 2 days earlier. Nice pool area with water cups and service from Spring bird bar on same level. The spa is worth a visit for the vitality pools and the sauna (both sex segregated). The spa reminded me very much of the Guerlain Spa at Waldorf Astoria Berlin which also provides facilities to all hotel guests Sunday arrive so Hearth Restaurant clouded for dinner, but this was a bonus because the charming Hearth Lounge next door to Hearth was open and I enjoyed there a steak with a nice bottle of Gaia Winery (Greece) assyrtiko blend well priced and came out of my hotel credit. Good wine list with reasonable and varying prices. Steak was delicious. Early to bed as on South Aussie body lock, To bed in the esconcing King bed and slept like a baby. Up early due to time difference jetlag from South Australia (same as flying west from NYC to San Francisco with a 3hr time dirrerence Nice breakfast in the Hearth Restaurant and a nice walk around the Quay and riverfront boardwalk. Back to hotel for some olives and a glass of rose in the Hearth Lounge to enjoy the rest of my hotel credit. Out to The Lucky Shag for lunch then back to room to CHILLAX until checkout time of 4pm which worked very well with a delay of my flight back to Adelaide This is somewhere to come and pamper yourself and get a, taste of waterfront lifestyle. Many Thx to Dario Orsini and his team for the welcome and wonderful stay

We booked a one week holiday in Perth for late April 2021 and learned about a lockdown while at the airport waiting for our flight. Having to make a split-second decision and being the eternal optimists that we are the flight was boarded as we really wanted to get "Hang w/ Quokkas" off our bucket list. There were no regrets w/ our decision as the hotel was beautiful and a perfect place to be locked in. The front desk staff provided us with a heavily discounted upgrade to a suite due to the large number of cancellations making it all the better. The location was perfect, close enough to the CBD to walk for anything you need, but also far enough to enjoy amazing views of the water and get away when needed. The staff were above and beyond accommodating even helping me with a solution to raise my laptop ensuring I was looking my best for a very important video call I was required to attend. We definitely recommend the Ritz as the BEST hotel you can choose for your visit to Perth.

Room amazing. Breakfast forgot my sons (18 mnths old) apple juice and water. Asked 3 times. Never got it but paid for it. That was 2 weeks ago. Today stopped for a drink in the afternoon, my so if highly allergic to dairy so got crudites.. hated those so got pursued veg. Amazing. Menu "under 2 years old is free". Ok i expected to pay for one of the meals. Nope paid for both, when questioned and said more than happy to pay for 1 for 2 when menu says under 2 is free was a bit much. Only to be told the policy had changed. Well maybe change your menu then. Absolutely disgusting and the service was slow and poor as well. To pay $600+ per night, go to crown towers instead.

Had a lovely time at the Song Bird rooftop bar until we were accosted at the elevator by a staff member who assumed we hadn’t paid our bill. Shock horror, it’s not only old white dudes who cad afford your venue 😱
