Breakfast and location is good. Very close to Murray Street Mall and Perth Station. Hotel service is much lower than you can expect. Excellent staff, helpful and welcoming. Contemporary hotel, great breakfast buffet and bright clean room. Our room had a safe, a large flat screen TV, but only a single chair at the small occasional table and no drinks in the minibar. We had a large shower cubicle, but many of the shower jets were blocked with calcium buildup

The Novotel Perth is well located, a casual 10 minute stroll to the centre of the city. On your walk down Murray Street or across one block to hay Street you pass many shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Its also a 5 minute walk from a supermarket. The hotel is new, fresh and decorated much better than most Novotels. the rooms are large, well appointed and comfortable. Didn't need a lot from the hotel staff but had no issues in terms of customer service, albeit that no-one is particularly friendly. But a good place to stay on a visit to Perth.

Good location, not car friendly at all. There is no where to pull up to check in. Optuons of parking is Valet or Wilson Parking a little up the road. I think parking should be included in these hotels. Clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. No coffee machine in room as most other places I have stayed in Perth only instant (Nescafe). Nescafe is standard which most don't like. Twinings tea. Noisy nightclubs across the road if you get a room on the Murray St side.

WOW! We stayed at 3 different places in Perth and 1 place in Busselton. This place was up there in the top 3 hotels we have ever stayed! Quiet, luxurious, very friendly service, daily housekeeping, speedy lifts, super easy valet parking, great location and all for an incredible price. Cannot speak highly enough of the 3 nights we stayed here except - wish it was longer.

Nice hotel. Well located. Close to restaurants. Nice pool. Poor wifi. Extremely Poor customer service. We ordered a Taxi via reception. We were just handing the key card over to the receptionist when the taxi arrived and she told another guest who asked to order a taxi to take ours! This resulted in us having no taxi. The receptionist clearly did not care and told us to call a Uber… it took us another 20 minutes to flag a taxi and only just made our plane. Not impressed at all. Certainly not what you would expect from a reputable hotel.

Good day, My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the Novatel, Perth Australia. We were welcomed by smiling staff and absolutely clean room. The Swimming pool was a GREAT extra along with the Sauna Room. The hotel is centre to all immunities. The only blemish was the price of the Hamburger . Breakfast was tasty, and maned by observant staff We were housed on the $ th floor. Please do not be afraid to ask. Enjoy your stay, and the please visit Kings park., it is in walking distance. Kind Regards, Norman

A brand new hotel let down by incompetence. Nobody answers phone-ever. You could be having a medical episode and nobody would know. I tried every line from duty manager to housekeeping to concierge to reception- zero response. I had to call an outside line to get any attention. I had room service dinner most nights and each time the delivery staff reeked of body odour it was a major put off. On one occasion I received a wrong order called reception who said she’d follow up only for me to cal 10 mins later to be told “ have you spoken with the restaurant?” As though it was up to me the guest to follow up! Such a shame as it’s a very new hotel at the upper end of Novotel examples but so let down by small details. Still a hotel finding itself. I would avoid-especially for the over the top prices paid. On that note buffet breakfast is an outrageous $45 for a full breakfast! That’s more than 5 star hotels.…

Staff could not care less. On check-in we were told one computer was down but the Receptionist would take care of it on another terminal. She offered us a free drink. Bar service was increadibly slow and rude. When a customer asked if he could order food the bartender heaved a sigh that should have blown all the dust off of WA! It took 20 minutes to get a beer. in most bars a competent bartend would have handled the crowd in 5 minutes or less. After 30 minutes we checked with Reception and were told that we would have towait in line. The line was now twice as long as before. Upon check-in the wifi was not working and no one was answering the phone. The curtains in the room had a spot, I don't know what it was. Before the long wait we asked for some restaurant recommendations and they recommended two places that were close. …

Large modern rooms, nice bathroom, great location, nice bar. But the consistently poor service really soured the experience for us. Our family group of four stayed in a suite and an executive room for a special birthday celebration holiday, with plans to use the kitchenette in the suite for all of us to prepare breakfast each morning. We didn't expect a fully kitted kitchen, just some facilities for some basic breakfast preparation. The kitchenette had a microwave, and nothing else. No cutlery, no crockery, no basic utensils. When my mother (staying in the suite) raised this with staff, she was told that, "the kitchenette is for show really" and that if we wanted a set of plates/cutlery we would need to pay $5! We were in the two highest classes of rooms in the hotel! Nevertheless, we had to ask four different staff members over a period of another full day to even get some bowls/cutlery- the first three staff never followed up on our request. Our first morning we ate breakfast out of paper bowls we purchased from the supermarket!!!! Room service was inconsistent, we needed to leave notes to make sure the empty soap dispensers were filled and coffee etc. replaced. We counted another room on our floor's dirty room service plates sit out on the corridor for three days! As an accorr member, we requested a late checkout (1pm), our room keys were disabled at 11am (numerous trips to front desk again required to rectify this). And on checkout they attempted to charge over $200 extra for our stay (we had only charged some coffees to our rooms). Turns out they had not applied my accorr points I was using for a discount to the room rates. Pool bar wasn't seen to be open once in our seven day stay, and function room(?) next to gym/pool had dirty glasses full of mould sitting on bench for most of our stay- noticed when accessing the pool each day. The place is a disaster. Either the staff haven't been trained properly or they just don't care. Such a shame as the building, rooms and location are great. But constantly having to request the basics from staff and deal with their mistakes does not make for a relaxing stay. …
