The Parmelia Hilton has exceptional staff throughout the hotel, everyone smiles and says hello.
The rooms are very well maintained, last night was so quiet we wondered what was happening. It was a blissful nights sleep. Shower is excellent and amenities are exactly as you would need.
Breakfast was great as always. Our cars was bought around very quickly. We live 15 kilometers from the Parmelia but it is so worth it to stay there becuase of the staff. Thank you very much.

Lovely, friendly staff provide a warm welcome and great service. Samuels on Mill restaurant provides delicious, high quality food prepared with care. We are big foodies, ate dinner and breakfast each day and were impressed with each meal. The recent fitout has updated the look to clean and fresh but, for the Standard rooms we stayed in, would guess was done on a small budget and the result is what you would expect from a very nice 3 star hotel. They did not update the tech, so standards in other hotels such as Netflix or cast to TV not provided. Only free to air TV channels. Standard Rooms are small and space usage is poorly planned e.g. only 1 drawer in the whole room. No shower gel, shower cap, only 1 wafer of soap. Tiny towels and bath robes. My husband could not even get the bath robe on. Air con does not go below 20 degrees, so hot to sleep. King Bed was very bouncy so 2 people sleeping together will disturb each other. Nice location although no room for valet park. Waited 5 mins on the road before we could pull in. We came on a Luxury Escape, which I think damages that brand as not luxury, but Hilton is a great option for 1 or 2 nights.

Dear tarzibumbles Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Parmelia Hilton recently. It is great to hear our team took such great care of you and that you especially enjoyed your dining experiences for dinner and breakfast each day in Samuels on Mill. Your comments regarding the standard guest room facilities are acknowledged and I am sorry these did not meet your expectations. Please also accept my apologies that we were unable to offer valet parking on this occasion. We would love for you to experience a King Executive Guest Room next time you stay. This room category elevates your experience to include the Executive Lounge, serving snacks all day, continental breakfast and canapés & beverages in the evening from 5pm to 7pm. Again, we thank you for your detailed feedback and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon. Best regards John Lucas General Manager

Checking into the the king premier suite on level 10 was certainly a cool and welcome respite from the 4 day heatwave (40 degrees plus) Perth just went through. Complimentary minibar (replenished daily) Evelyn and Crabtree toiletries, walk in shower, bathtub and the convenience of having 2 toilets and TV at our disposal made the stayca even more comfortable.
Free wifi speed of 4.93 down and 4.45 up Mbps is sufficient to check emails and light surfing.
Some quirks to note
Was not able to stream Netflix due to an issue of device connecting to Chromecast. Was also unable to use firestick via the HDMI inputs due to the hotel selling movies. (A$35 sale for 24 hours of unlimited movies viewing).
While the movement sensors within the room is a great touch to conserving energy, the living room was plunged into darkness (while working on laptop) after 30 mins which became annoying after a while. Perhaps, the sensors can be recalibrated to between 60 to 90 minutes.
What was outstanding and memorable is the attitude of the staff. Carol, Amy from front desk, Claudine and Brayden from Samuel's and the house keeping staff (forgot to take note of names) are truly worthy of mention and are the true stars of the hotel.
All in all, a great enjoyable staycation. Thank you for a wonderful way to end the year.

Haven't stayed at this hotel for some years, so was keen to see what the refurbishments had done to the place. Like others have reported, the makeover has been well worth the investment.
Over my 2 night stay, I was delighted to be upgraded to an executive level room, without asking. Gold Status no doubt played a part in this. While I found the room a little clinical and lacking a touch of warmth, it was modern and very well fitted out, with a comfy bed and furnishings, impressive TV, more USB ports than any room I've stayed in, a decent coffee maker. The bathroom was also well fitted out, sans a rain shower head which would have capped off the room's features.
This room type comes with Lounge Access, and a complimentary full breakfast. The lounge is well laid out and although it wasn't busy during the day, it became busy during the evening complimentary canapes and refreshments. While a limited selection was on offer, there was still a decent variety of cold and hot options.
Breakfast featured the usual buffet style hot and cold options, and eggs cooked to order. The quality of food was excellent. My only comment would be to offer barista coffee instead of the self-service machines during the breakfast service.
My final and most crucial observation was the top-notch staff, across the entire hotel. Every interaction I had was professional, friendly, and welcoming. The staff are a credit to this hotel. Would return in a heartbeat....

Growing up as a teenage in Perth and since moving to the eastern state, I’ve not had the opportunity to revisit my childhood city and certainly Parmelia Hilton Perth has been a hotel I’m very curious to find out.
My recent revisit to Perth gave me the opportunity to give Parmelia Hilton Perth a try and sure it didn’t disappoint.
The hotel is located at a very central business district, close to the waterfront Elizabeth Quay with easy access to the airport by a direct bus from St George’s Tce just around the corner. Although this 10 story building is old however it is well renovated with all the modern and stylish furnishings especially the common areas and lobby.
Thanks to my Hilton Diamond status, I was upgraded to a Queen Deluxe room with a balcony looking out to the internal pool and it was spacious and very comfortable. TVs are equipped with Chromecast and there’s no issues with connecting YouTube or Netflix from your mobile phone to the big screens.
Executive Lounge is located on the ground floor pass the reception, there are abundance of delicious canapés, wines and beers on offer however, spirits are no where to be seen and they are not on display. If you are looking for a mixed drinks with any spirits, you are welcomed to request from the staff on duty.
Great selection of food on breakfast however only continental breakfast are complimentary for Hilton elite members unless $10 p/person is charged for a full hot breakfast. Considering the great location, warm and welcoming service by all staff at Hilton, I’m more than happy to pay $20 for the hot meal.
Thanks for the fantastic stay and making this trip in Perth a memorable one.

The new and shiny hotel cannot cope-I had a very disappointing time here. I stayed with family in connecting rooms for the weekend.
The room was not cleaned because they were short of housekeeping staff, the in-room safe would not work because the batteries were out and could not be fixed until the Monday. The TV has no premium channels and Diamond members no longer get the free breakfast in the restaurant.
Apart from apologies, there was nothing else forthcoming from the manager. I wonder if one should be expected to pay for a room when the housekeeping service is not provided.
Tips for management
1. housekeeping shortage - drop a polite note under the door with fresh towels and toiletries.
2. Let your diamond members know where the lounge is and the opening hours.

Dear randyb676 Thank you for your review and feedback following your recent stay. Naturally, I am concerned to learn of the aspects of your visit that were disappointing and sincerely apologise for any housekeeping shortfall. Diamond Hilton Honors members receive breakfast each morning in the executive lounge. It is possible to upgrade to the full buffet breakfast in the restaurant for a supplement of $10 per person per day. Due to Covid restrictions over the past two years, there has been some flexibility with this arrangement to comply with government mandates and hotel occupancy levels, however we have now returned to provide benefits per the Hilton Honors program. My apologies for any disappointment caused. Each guest room television is fitted with Chromecast for you to stream your favourite viewing apps from your device to your television. Thank you again for your feedback as a valued Diamond Member. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon. Best regards Anthony Mauro General Manager

The Hilton Mill street has exactly what you need - Any type of traveller ( Comfy bed , quiet relaxed bar , great food options especially for the body if you have travelled, location is in the city so you can walk or a cheap can ride, staff that actually care - hard to believe I know and I am proof of this. Before the renovation I stayed here all the time I have now returned after the re opening and a year later Cameron from concierge greeted me by name
On arrival!) that is what makes a hotel great, staff that remember your name. Stay here and enjoy your room and go and explore perth! The view isn’t of kings park or the water but who cares you can get a great sleep and good meal that’s what a stay in a hotel is about... Thank you Hilton Mill street for being my home away from home

Could not fault the service, warmth and attention, paid to us on our recent weekend away. It was excellent.
Intelligent, polite and caring staff really can make a difference to your hotel experience and the Parmelia Hilton Perth has such staff.
Concierge were great, bike out of small car (4WD with roof rack too big for car park) was dealt with promptly and in good humour. The ease of riding/walking around the Swan River is a blessed luxury in Perth and an easy trundle from the Parmelia to main cycle/walk paths.
Our room was a queen so not a “big” one but definitely not small either. It was airy and well laid out. More importantly it was QUIET, possibly because the walls are 1970’s thick. The Parmelia’s recent renovation is great, both modern and a nod toward 60’s -70’s chic - love it.
Room service was lovely!
The breakfast buffet was very good, and we have sampled many.
The usual brekkie options plus a few extras made with love...you can taste it. Chef Martino’s Roasted Tomatoes and Cauliflower were a standout, full of flavour and fresh.
Service staff in Samuel’s On Mill were warm and attentive.
Overall we had an excellent experience and will return. We feel proud that visitors to Perth are being so well looked after in such a Perth kind of way....personal, warm, polite and caring.

We regularly stay at hotels in Perth and I can't honestly say that this is by far superior to anywhere we have stayed before. The service we received from the lovely Carol and then Vicky on reception was second to none. The Club Lounge was terrific and staff, both Cassie and Sarah were friendly, helpful and very kind. We had a chat to them both and they mentioned what a wonderful place it was to work and how management really supported their staff. You can really tell - it's so nice to hear staff talk about management in that way.
The room we stayed in was a suite room number 1023. Beautiful and very elegant. Separate dressing room, two toilets, gorgeous bed and comfortable lounge chairs. As this was a belated 20th Anniversary a bottle of bubbly was their on arrival with chocolate strawberries. Breakfast was beautiful, fresh, and replenished with great care taken to remove dirty serving spoons and plates. Pastries were fresh and displayed separately amongst a gorgeous array of native flowers. Would I return? Absolutely.

My wife and I had another short staycation over the weekend 5 months after our last visit, and we can again vouch for the lovely hospitality on display by John & his team at Parmelia Hilton again.
From the Front Office Manager James & Amy, Carol & Jocelyn from the front desk, and Armina, Malcolm, Claudine, Sutesh at Samuels on Mills were all professional, courteous & friendly to us all during our stay.
We have the same King Parlour room 819 which offer us ample space and privacy to let our newborn slept while we relaxed in the separate lounge area. As the Executive Lounge was not opened on Sunday, we were treated with tapas as canapés with complimentary drinks at Samuel on Mills during 5-7pm.
We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
Hospitality in action, well done to John Lucas & his team!

If you email Anthony Mauro, the General Manager I’m sure you’ll get a reply. Sorry I can’t answer as this was the first hotel of many during our tour of Australia/New Zealand so can’t recall. It is a lovely modern hotel with very helpful staff.
It was a pleasant temperature for a swim. Not sure of length but it was fine for laps. I really liked it and I am a keen swimmer
Sorry I don't smoke so didn't think to find out.
Sorry we didn't get to use the lounge on that occasion .
