I stayed here for 6 nights while visiting Perth. This place is the best for so many reasons. It's less of a hostel and more like staying in a 6-bedroom home. They only have space for 30 or so, so be sure to book early. Staff and residents were welcoming and it was very easy to make friends, which is...

I was expecting a more laid-back and quiet atmosphere. Perhaps it was the grp of ppl staying at the hostel. It tended to be noisy at the living area, even beyond 1030pm. In summer, aircon at night is a must as the room can get quite stuffy. These aside, wickham is a good place to stay if u enjoy interacting...

After making my way through 5 different Hostels in Perth, finding this one was like a diamond on the ruff. Great place to meet friendly people, kitchens are full of everything you'll ever need, beds are clean and tidy, wall to wall posters giving it a huge amount of character, free laundry, great pool table that brings everyone together for...

If you prefer smaller hostels where you acutually meet other travelers wickham retreat is it! Its more of a shared hourse and pretty chilled since there are a few rules to drinking, but you can always have a few drinks and then go out. Free breakfast is nice (peanutbutter, jam, milk, cereal and bread) and there was a free pizza...

I only stayed here for 1 night but I wished I'd been able to stay longer. It's a hostel that feels like a home. Charlie was really friendly and helpful. There are plenty of socialising areas and a really good kitchen area. The free breakfast is a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again.

What an awesome place! I have only good things to say. We were offered a free house-wide pizza dinner the day we arrived which made for a memorable start to our stay. The house has a mellow and friendly atmosphere with all around good people. The staff are great, so hospitable. Charlie is a really stand up guy and goes...

This hostel has a warm and welcoming vibe to it that makes for a homely spot. The staff are friendly and the kitchens and bathrooms are kept nice and tidy. Though repairs were needed in several spots over the course of my stay, they were all dealt with in a timely manner.

I just slept one night at Wickham retreat and it was a great warm sleep (finally) :) Moreover the manager cooked rice and curry for everybody that night and it was sooo good! Breakfast is good and free and I could also do my laundry for free, which saved me some dollars. If I ever come back to Perth I...

Coming from South East Asia hostels in Australia seemed so expensive, however this hostel at 30$ seemed pretty reasonable. I later found out the value was very worth it. There was multiple hanging out areas with pool tables, free computer with internet access, free wifi, and a quiet area with books as well. There was showers and a nice kitchen...
