Shower didn't work for me, apparently there was a button on top of the shower if you were mad enough to want a wet shower. I couldn't see it. Fire alarm was in pieces. aerosol smell was later replaced by smoke smell. Neighbours arrived about 12:30am, I heard every word of their hour long conversation. Curtain wafer thin and outside...

We required a room for the night and found it be clean and quiet. Although dated, it was fresh and tidy and suited our needs. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly on arrival and also upon leaving the following day. Value for money.

We walked into our room and we were very pleasantly surprised. Clean and everything that we needed. The lady that checked us in was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to stay here. Stayed for three nights.

Sure the décor is aging... And the gold curtains are super classy... Yet it was warm, clean and super comfortable. The bed was awesome and we were all very happy. Good value and pretty close to most things in Auckland...

Firstly, other people on the conference I was at thought their accommodation here was fine, so this review is based only on a Standard Studio. I booked for 3 nights but after one I had to find alternative accommodation. Firstly the room was very small - difficult to find a place to open your suitcase and certainly no room on...

Old tired place just off the motorway going to the airport which is about 10-15 mins drive if there is no traffic. Place is pretty run down with small pokey rooms including kitchenettes which barely even one person can get in. Not a memorable place for me so if you have the money and time I'm sure you can do...

I am at the Royal Dukes for 3 days on business. The room is OK, it is clean. The position is OK, but 5 to 10 minutes walk to food. The guitar shaped pool and courtyard is quiet and if I'd brought my togs I would have gone for a swim. All in all it is OK, but no better.

There have been some very negative reviews about this so I was a bit apprehensive especially as the temperature were in the high 20s, but if you go prepared it’s not all bad. If you book the cheap rooms (standard studio) they are indeed small and rather airless, and there is no AC but they do provide a fan. Most...

The room was clean and comfortable and included a fridge and microwave which was great. We enjoyed our stay here and found the staff very friendly. The guitar shaped pool was a quirky idea but we did not use as it was too cold being November. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is due to the fact that...

A very clean, great value for money stay. Nice and close to the airport and local shops. Very friendly and helpful with all of our needs. It is nice and quiet and a perfect place to stay if you need to have access to cooking facilities and a comfortable bed to sleep in.
