I had a small one bedroom apartment. It was very clean, had everything I needed. Comfortable bed. I didn't find it too noisy, mind you I was staying mid week. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is central, walking distance to the waterfront and train station. The only thing I would mention is the shower head in the shower... More

This hotel is very well placed in the central city and convenient, however, don't go there on a Friday night. We had the unfortunate experience of having the pounding nightclub that was directly below the hotel blasting until 4am in the morning where no sleep was to be had. Obviously the hotel is very aware of this as they provide... More

Linda, We want to apologize for your experience at our hotel due to the nightclub noise on Fort Street. We are working very hard to install double glazing throughout the property to help minimize the street noise from the nightclubs. We do apologize you did not have a good nights sleep and we understand how important that is. More

This is great for Auckland stop overs with an Airport bus stop close by. Staff are so helpful even to arranging so that we could have a granddaughter stay with us the night before her graduation. It is handy to the Town Hall etc and buses are so frequent up and down Queen Street for shopping or the water front.... More

There's a cheap nightclub beside the building that plays deafeningly loud dance music which makes it impossible to sleep. Some of the staff are near catatonic in their approach to customer service. Avoid.

We booked two nights. What a mistake the overwhelming smell of sewer drain smell and deodorizer spray when we walked in made us run and open the balcony slider and windows. We had to pour water down the floor drain in the bathroom to stop the gasses. Then about 10 pm the pounding music started from the night club next... More

We were surprised how small the apartment was, no space for our 2 cases except on the floor of the small living area. But location lower Queen Street was excellent. Really suits 1 person. We booked directly but nowhere on the booking receipt were we advised the office closes at 8pm so no advice how to open the front door... More

Stayed Saturday night.. i dont know how the nightclub below gets away with the excessively loud music.. stopt at 5am. Even with the ear plugs they supply its still very loud!! Would never ever stay again!! Shocking to think i paid good money to have no sleep.

The rooms are tiny but very well equipped. The location is great. Very poor construction with only single glazing. I stayed two nights Monday and Tuesday. On Monday night I wondered why they supplied free earplugs beside the bed, on Tuesday I found out why. So bloody noisy I might as well have had a disco in the tiny living... More

I was expecting something quite nice for just under $200 (on special) but was disappointed - very small & pokey. Room was generally clean but there was a big stain on the carpet, windows were really dirty and couldn't get the wifi to work - being that it was the weekend the reception was closed. So ok, just.

Helpful staff. Great location very close to shops and eateries. Rooms in the upper floors are bright with balcony. Rooms are properly furnished and the kitchen is well supplied. Recommend it. Check the Internet plans for your room before booking.
