We had a two night stay and were impressed with the enormous room. It had a separate bedroom and a large terrace, which had a six seater outdoor table overlooking the pool area. The room was clean and modern, with lots of cupboard space and drawers that would be good for longer stays. The restaurant opens out onto the pool...

We stayed here for one night. I must say that the staff at the hotel were all helpful and polite. We were given a river facing room. Though the room was large I don't know when it was cleaned as there were cobwebs in the bedrooms and my wife's biggest hate, hairs in the shower!!. We did eat in the...

The Hotel is very well situated in town, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The Restaurant offers a limited menu but something for everyone but I am sure the capabilities of the Chef is not reflected in this menu, the wait staff on duty where untrained and the Chef delivered the meals personally to the tables with an apology...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights end of November for a wedding. The rooms were nice, our room was very clean and tidy (thanks to house keeping staff) you do a great job. The only thing to gripe about was there is no room safe. As we attended a wedding on the Saturday I was not wanting to...

We stayed for two nights in November 2014 to attend a wedding. Huge rooms which was great value for money. Reception staff were lovely. Great location. The gym was a little disappointing but all in all a really nice experience.

On a trip to NZ with my wife we decided to travel over to Gisborne, now I can't say much for the town itself but the hotel was fantastic, the room was huge and the bathroom was very nice as well. Can't fault the staff either, my only criticism would be the slightly confusing layout, as we parked in the...

Was very suprised how large the room was, with a street view towards the river. Very comfortable bed with great linen, separate lounge area and huge bathroom. Very few bathroom amenities (soaps, shampoos etc) but we generally don't use them anyway. Would definitely stay again.

On our first trip to Gisborne, we were unsure on what to expect from a hotel however, on entry we were pleasantly surprised with a well presented, spacious room while staying with friends in a two bedroom apartment with stunning views of West Gisborne and overlooking the river. While it presented well, the amenities and basics within the room left...

We had a lovely stay with a great view. I love how we were asked what view, river or pool side. Both are lovely but the the riverside is really nice. We don't often get away so the option to keep to ourselves and have the most satisfying breakfast in room was exactly what we needed. Late check out meaning...
