Just got home after a three night stay at the Nautilus in Napier and felt compelled to write a review. We requested a ground floor two bedroom apartment with a walk in shower. We got what we asked for and it met all our needs. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. There were plenty of towels for all our daily use as we also had a spa bath. We had a great view of the beach front and the drive to town was a short distance. Staff were really friendly. I definitely recommend the Nautilus and will stay there again. Thanks to the team.

The seaview single room came with convenient accessories to entertain a few guest with extra seats to eat together and share a stunning view. Great for work as it comes with a spotlighted desk then you can enjoy a large spa whilst looking at the sky or watch some TV. The sliding doors to the balcony allow you to open up the space to a wide view of the sea front. Lighting is Great. Power point and USB points are placed in the right places. Cute kitchen with minibar, crystal glasses and great plunge coffee. Instructions were clear and staff and room service were nice to talk to and friend friendly. Close to city but far away from the noise. I slep to the sound of the waves. Right near the aquarium. Very affordable and comfortable stay. Will be back again Thank you

Clean & cosy. Spa bath was a real bonus on a rainy afternoon. The room had everything we needed and when the sun came out we were a stones throw from the centre. Perfect spot to stay in Napier. Motel owner very helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

Very nice place to stay right at the beach . Rooms were clean and big. Well equipped small kitchen if needed. Beds were comfortable. Very nice and helpful staff. Will definitely come back and can highly recommend this place!

the pillows were soft. bed was very comfortable.rooms were clean and tidy. large spa bath which my kids enjoyed. everything was really excellent, and clean. i would like to recommend this motel to everyone who is planning to visit napier with their family .My youngest son even said that he had the most comfortable sleep. Thanks to the management and staff of The Nautilus for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Really nice accommodation and excellent service! The room is very clean and tidy! The family suite is huge. Plenty space for my 11 yo boy and 14yo girl. The staff member is very friendly and patient. They even call us and offered help to courier back the gaming concole and electric toothbrush my kids left there after checkout. Definitely a go again place!

Honestly the Nautilus is a very nice hotel to stay when visiting Napier has very nice rooms and comes with a nice view out to the ocean and a glorious sun rise in the morning is the bonus highly recommended

Overall a nice stay. Unfortunately you cannot have the sea views without also having to deal with traffic noise. The other issue was that there is no lift except for a small luggage one. Very difficult for older people and people with mobility issues to climb the stairs. Parking is also not great. The disabled car parks are in a stupid place and difficult to access. The room was lovely though except for the fact that the spa bath was round and the plug was on the far side and you have to be an acrobat to get in and put the plug in!

Stayed for one night on the 3rd floor. Large room with good bathroom and bed. However the carpet was well used with fraying and a hole. There had obviously been mould cleaned in the bathroom as stains were evident. Great view of the foreshore and a small balcony with table and chairs. Pity cigarette boxes are outside rooms are still a thing.
