After travelling around the North Island for a week, this place was the 3rd Motel we had stayed in and perhaps the best. Fabulous location situated across from the ocean and all of the attractions it had to offer. Very clean rooms. An abundance of towels, and bathroom amenities. Very well appointed kitchenette. Main bedroom had a huge king size...

We were initially reluctant to stay in a motel, however the size and location of the room was perfect for my wife, 7-year-old daughter and I. The staff were super friendly too, and kindly allowed us to park for a few hours after we checked out so we could explore Napier by foot.

Stayed 2 nights with a room facing the beach front/main road. A bit of traffic noise but didn't affect our stay. Room is of a good size and well equipped with all the basic stuff. Had a spar bath in the room which was okay, used it once, took ages to fill the got a bit bored with it. Pump...

The room was nice and big, very clean and of course, the balcony with a fantastic view of the ocean. Right on the main highway so very easy to find, parking was a bit tight though and on our 2nd night we had to park on the street. Laundry facilities are excellent too! The service was good and it was...

My wife and I spent one night in a 'street view studio'; probably one of the best motels we have stayed in during our 3 week vacation (and we have virtually never been disappointed by our choices of accommodation). LARGE room with a kitchenette, king-size bed, a big (spa) bath and spotless bathroom - all super clean and beautifully furnished...

We arrived and had previously requested a room away from the stairway as I had read on TripAdvisor that the rooms near the stairs were noisy. This request was not acknowledge and after MUCH deliberation with the rather unhelpful receptionist we were moved to a room away from the stairs. Basic motel - have stayed in better on our tour...

Decent hotel for the price. Kitchen was nice to have. Location was okay. Room was not super clean but passable. Request a room overlooking the water if possible. Furniture in the hotel was worn down and couch was ripped.

A huge room with a king bed, spa tub, living room, kitchen and a large bath. At under $100 US this is probably the best deal I have ever had in a hotel room. Easy walking to great restaurants and directly across the street from the parks on the ocean.

Good location and lovely sea view. Room very large and well furnished. Very Clean. Kitchen area and bathroom in need of refurbishment. Nice private balcony to enjoy and glass of wine. Overall value for money. Reception staff very helpful. Lots to do and see in and around Napier.

We overnighted at the Shoreline, having researched it on TripAdviser. Its located on the road facing the ocean across a parkland area that was under renovation. But we were only passing through, having a quick look at Napier as we hadn't been there before. Frankly I think Napier is a bit over sold in terms of its quantity and quality...
