Stay here a lot. Biggest issue is the wifi so slow that it is barely worth having. That is if it works at all. Very seldom does it work on my phone and even on my Laptop it can be a painful process. The hotel offers good wifi for an unreasonable price of 10 a night which is a sixth...

Te Pania offers ALL guests free wifi. This is limited to 4 devices per room, so if you had more than that plugged in you may well have exceeded the very generous data cap. I can assure you that our guests are generally delighted that we offer this service free. I am sorry you felt that you were disadvantaged. Thank...

We stayed in a 4th floor room, which was very spacious, overlooking the Pacific. There was plenty of storage space and a nice bathroom. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The only drawback is that the hotel fronts onto the road leading to the port and at times there is noice from passing trucks- the higher the floor you stay on the noise...

This hotel is at the end of the main beach rd of Napier, but still an easy walk into town. We were on the first floor of the hotel and had to go up a ramp to get to our room. Better than stairs as I have a mobility issue. Our room was spacious enough for our needs with a...

Nice size room, v.comfy beds and best pillows out of all hotels etc we have stayed in in NZ,but Quilt is inside two flat sheets , base sheet another flat sheet (not fitted )and the whole lot is tucked in like blankets. The idea of a duvet is that it floats free and settles round your body shape, this lot when...

Thank you for your review. I a sorry you did not enjoy our signature bedding. The purpose of double sheeting the duvet is for hygiene purposes, this is common practise in New Zealand. Thanks for taking to the time to let us know your thoughts. warm regards Kerryann

My husband and I had a room on the 6th floor overlooking the ocean. Beautiful and quiet. All staff were extremely helpful, even lending us an umbrella for our walk around Napier. Room was comfortable and hotel was convenient for walking to see art deco architecture. A hotplate or toaster would have been nice.

This hotel was selected by us on review advice from others. I am so glad we did! The hotel is clean, modern and well run. The stunning part is how comfortable the rooms are. The beds are exquisite! The views are stunning. My wife was ecstatic! Need I say more. Wholly recommended!

Great room with great views. Stayed as 2 couples in 2 rooms with an adjoining room between the 2 rooms. The extra space between the 2 rooms is great as a family focal point to get together & relax. 3 couples travelling together.

Good location for exploring Napier. Has a great view of the Ocean. The room was a standard room and the bed was a bit soft for us but good for a stopover on our way up the North Island. The view was the best thing and I believe all the rooms have a view.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel and found its best feature was probably its location across a busy main road from the extensive beach area with an easy walk to the town centre.
