Lovely hotel just out of town but in a nice vibe quay area Reception staff were super friendly and helpful and assisted us in organising lunch at one of the wineries. Room (1 bed suite) was very clean spacious with the most comfortable bed and good quality bed linen. There was free washing and drying families on site which was a real bonus. Breakfast was in an adjoining restaurant and was delicious Faboulous hotel fabulous staff and highly recommended
After a pleasant reception we were shown where to park the car with plenty of spaces and how to reach our room. It was spacious and excellently equipped with a lovely bathroom with a stunning view. The room had a balcony with table and chairs with fabulous views also. Room service was extremely good. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with a very good choice. All staff were smiling and polite and gave us excellent advice. The location is really good with lots of good restaurants and bars within minutes. We would unhesitatingly come here again and would highly recommend this hotel.
We are not usually a great lover of modern hotels but this was very comfortable with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. A ten min drive took you into beautiful Napier where we did an art deco walking tour which I recommend. The hotel also had free laundry facilities which was very handy and quick. The adjacent coffee house/cafe was very good for good especially breakfast.
The hotel is located in the beach suburb of Ahuriri, this boutique hub with shops and cafes was the perfect setting for our two night stay in Napier. We loved our one bedroom suite, the room was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a stay.
Over $300.00 per night to have the whole night ruined by 2 rooms of noisy, selfish guests. By 3.00am they were still partying - appearing to only stop for a short while - later finding out that that was when someone from the staff told them to quiet down. Complaining on our checkout we were treated with indifference - i requested a discount which we got 10% but a very disappointing stay
Smart, clean, spacious and well equipped rooms and superb housekeeping. Super helpful people in reception and great location right near the beach. Free laundry facilities and easy parking. Just what you want to explore Napier and surrounding area.
This hotel has many things going for it. The elevators were very quick and efficient, with plenty of parking underneath, and great proximity to the waterfront and beach. Shops are nearby, and it isn't far to the centre of Napier. This is definitely my favourite area to stay in Napier. WiFi was good and the shower was excellent. What I didn't like was the bed. The bed doesn't normally worry me, but I found this bed to be too soft and wobbly, and suffered back-ache for the following 2 days after our stay - this has never happened to me before. Softness of bed can be quite a personal thing, but their beds are definitely not to my liking. There is a guest laundry on the ground floor, but the door is often locked and it is marked "Main switchboard room" which is confusing to guests!…
Lovely from beginning to end. Clean ocean facing room fab amenities lovely staff perfect and suitable parking. Cabs available in 5 minutes every driver a fab local guide!! The room had all we need with food and drink available in a few minutes drive along with fast food delivery. Only slight negatives is a bit far from downtown ($NZ12 per trip FYI) and some food services not yet fully back and operational
Stayed here on a tour around NZ. Be aware that it is located quite a way from Napier centre itself and unless you are prepared for a good walk it's a car trip. That said, there are local ammenties - shops, cafes, restarants, etc. The layout of the various buildings takes a bit of getting used as its clearly expanded over the years. There is good parking and lifts if you need to take luggage to a higher floor. If you get a sea view you are looking over a road and a car park. Light sleepers may find noise and issue but I didn't find it too bad. Room very comforable and well furnished. Biggest issue for me ... the restaurant is in fact the cafe below and they are currently without a chef, so evening meals are only available on a few nights per week (other options nearby thankfully!). Also, the cafe is open to the public as well and given it's location it's very popular at breakfast. At peak times had to wait for things. That said, all the staff were universally friendly and helpful. I get the feeling that many locations in NZ are still recovering from coming out of lockdown ... hopefully these issues will be resolved.…
This place is noisy! Especially if you end up in a room above the cafes. You get to endure people talking below you, inhale the cigarette smoke wafting up along with the exhaust fumes from vehicles driving past. And all this on top of the noise from neighboring and above rooms. The rooms are clean, however the bleach smell takes some getting used to in the bathrooms as they don't appear to rinse ther floors after mopping them with cleaner. The reception staff seem nice and apologize but that's it. There is no attempt to make your remaining stay pleasant Go elsewhere.
