Excellent time share apartments: full kitchen (incl dishwasher, fridge/freezer). No in-room WiFi, but good cellphone reception. Free WiFi available in communal area ("owners lounge"). Pleasant views across the valley, but view of the sea is is blocked by vegetation. Heat-pump for cooling/heating/drying. Great cascade of swimming pools - from hot spa pool to warm to cool swimming pools. Recommended!

Having been to the Bay of Islands about 5 years before, we wanted to explore the area in more detail. Booked into Club Paihia via time share exchange. The unit was great -easy to cook our own meals in and plenty of space. Good TV movies and entertainment. /the Club also offered DVDs in the office and a community room...

This resort was within walking distance to the main shops in Paihia. its only downfall is the very steep driveway ! Our studio unit was one of the lower ones, so we were lucky, but there were some very high up units ! WE had a lovely view from our room, it had great cooking facilities, full size fridge, all...

Spotlessly clean, front desk ladies very nice and helpful. The units have everything you need to cook , the gardens and pool area are clean and lovely. The board walk was a highlight, you must walk the few minutes it takes. The unit is spacious except the bathroom is tiny with a very small sink and shower, laundry very close...

Really steep resort - too steep for a lot of people. Made me plan well when leaving the unit even though I am fit, knowing I had that really steep climb upon my return. Average, old and tired resort with no views from a lot of units. Other reviews say that owners get preferences to the nice units )I'm not...

This is a nice and comfortable timeshare resort. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The pool is amazing, an amazing social focus. There is a bush walk, which is beautiful, peacefull and well worth a nighly stroll. Very close to the town centre, beach, markets everything. HOWEVER If you are not fit, or have a disability or troble walking...

We had a lovely week at Club Paihia, booked through DAE exchange. It is a first class resort. We had apartment 51, a one bed apartment. This was of excellent design and quality. I think it's newly refurbished. Be aware that the resort is on a hill so be prepared to walk up steep slopes and steps to your apartment....

We booked through DAE Exchange and found the service and one bedroom unit 74 was clean, newly renovated and great little kitchen. It gave us a bit of exercise as it was on the top terrace [car parked outside] but we walked every where down to the village and back up the hill after a meal and sight seeing. The...

We have stayed here every year for the past 7 years and the high standard has been maintained over that time, facilities have been upgraded and modernised continually. It is a credit to the staff and management that keep up this standard.
