A very clever use of space - the cabins are set out on the hill amongst greenery an placed at offering angles, so that although you have near neighbours you don't feel hemmed in at all. There was plenty of room with small kitchen, separate bedroom and sitting room and a verandah for the evening drinks. Just a short walk...

A secluded but close to town motel that was clean, well equipped and with nice views. A very nice track nearby for a tramp with a view of the bay. Spacious, free parking, had a fabulous time! Helpful staff. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paihia. We even were lent beach towels after we checked out. There was a...

Stayed here for a couple of nights in a sea view chalet at the top of the plot and yes it's up quite a few steps but so well landscaped and laid out that meerly added to the charm of the place. I could happily have stayed here for a few nights more, loved the view, loved the chalet and...

The units are private providing you close the blinds or neighboring units will cop an eyeful. The view from our unit was fantastic albeit a distant one of the harbor. We arrived in torrential rain and stayed in the top unit which entailed a lot of climbing stairs and paths to get there. The unit had everything you would expect...

We stayed at the Bay Cabinz Motel for four nights over New Year and it was perfect for our needs. We were in one of the top level self-contained cabins which had a kitchenette, bathroom and two bedrooms. Tea and coffee were provided, and there was a hob, microwave and plenty of kitchenware if you want to take your own...

We stayed in the Bay Cabinz a few weeks ago and although the property was fine it all looked a bit dated. The strange Red, Yellow and Blue colour scheme in the rooms did it no favours and overall it was not really worth the money. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful and could not have been...

Don't book this place is you dislike stairs as you have to climb to get to your cool little cabin but oh is it worth it! Yes! Nice little cabins with kitchenette, 2 beds and decent shower. Don't get me wrong. It's not the ritz. But you get what you pay for. The shower is pretty yuck but it's ok....

Good practical cabin - On the top level which involved climbing some stairs but worth it for the view. Paihia is a lovely place to be. The Cabinz is situated across the road from Legends eatery which is great for families

Unfortunately due to time constraints we could only stay one night. We got one of the top cabins and enjoyed a lovely ocean view. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. Slept well even if the bed was a bit softer than I'm used to. The owners were very generous and allowed us to park our car on the...

Facilities in motel unit (cabin) was the best in our five weeks of NZ touring. Motel clean, comfortable in a Small area, with a most complete facilities which...
