This is a purpose built B&B home run by a couple who have been doing B&B for 25 years. The rooms are large and well appointed. There is a private coffee and snacks area available 24-hours per day. The home is located out of town on a beautifully landscaped parcel of land. The hosts are amazingly friendly and so helpful....

Lindsey and Jonathan are fantastic hosts. Very laid back, but couldn't be more helpful. We arrived late from a cricket match in Hamilton, and they saved us an unpredictable and even later trip into town with spontaneous provision for a lovely supper. While Lindsey turns out a wonderful breakfast, Jonathan is an expert in planning your time in the area....

We stayed at 124 for two nights - after a long journey our hosts were welcoming ang gave us a lot of helpful advice about the area. We had an immaculate room and in the morning were greeted with a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended - book it if you can! It is outside the centre of town in a peaceful...

We don't usually stay in B&B's, but we did enjoy our stay. The room was large and very comfortable, however, the bathroom was a little small and only one small mirror which made it hard for 2 people to get ready at the same time. However, Lindsey allowed me to use an unused bathroom which helped out a lot. The...

We had a very nice room with a small shadowy terrace right outside our room. The hosts were very helpfull and gave us lots of information on the area. We enjoyed our trips to the lakes and to Wai-Te-Apu- and also the lovely breakfast.

My wife and I were touring New Zealand on our honeymoon, and she found this outstanding bed and breakfast. She was particularly drawn to it since Jonathan is a professional photographer and I am and serious hobbyist. Jonathan and Lindsay were fantastic hosts with a beautiful home. We loved the breakfasts in the morning to get our adventures started. Would...

Amazing hospitality! This is such a friendly household, and a very "homey" b&b! We had an amazing time, enjoyed coming home to a selection of teas, biscuits and snacks which were all in an open roomed kitchenet. Fantastic set up, and we LOVED the Brunswick lion!!!! Thank you for our kindness and hospitality, we loved it!!

We were wanting a relaxing weekend away from our business and this proved to be exactly what we were looking for and really was "absolutely fabulous". Lovely warm welcome from lovely down to earth hosts, Lindsey & Jonathan; very generous with the free extras such as home baking, chips & snacks & even offered us some Baileys and Cognac. Lovely...
