My family and I stayed at Mokoia Downs B&B a few days after Christmas and had an outstanding time on the farm! My youngest daughter looked forward each morning to feeding the animals with Teresa. We all looked forward to the amazing fresh breakfast that was served each day. My daughter has a gluten allergy and she received her own...

Mokoia Downs is a lovely place to spend our holidays in New Zealand. A very good choice is it to stay with children there. The large estate with a creek and some pools together with various animals there, is an interesting place for children. But for adults it is wonderful too. The owners Mick and Teresa take care to their...

We LOVED this farm! Mick has homemade liqueurs all around the place for our consumption, and we had a wonderful night at their bar doing a terrible job guessing all the flavors he made (some of them were made from fruit in their garden). They were delicious! Teresa's hospitality is truly exceptional; ensuring everyone was well taken care of (even...

Mick and Teresa were great hosts and we had a great experience during our stay. My daughter had a great time in the morning farm work experience and we loved the room and common areas. We arrived in the afternoon and were received with tea and biscuits. It was a pity we were not staying longer to enjoy the facilities.

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect B&B to spend four nights over Christmas. Teresa & Mick and wonderful and attentive hosts who bend over backwards to help you have a fantastic time in Rotorua. The small farm of sheep, miniature horses, donkeys, ducks and chickens which graze next to their small lake give such a serene and peaceful ambiance...

Absolutely incredible..... Mick and Teresa are such lovely and great hosts. Our 6 year old son Lachlan just loves helping Teresa feed the animals and clean up the donkey poo. Happy Hour between 9 and 10 at Micks Anglers Arms tasting Micks home made liqueur is something to also look forward to. Breakfasts are incredible and we are so happy...

Heaven on earth ! Warm welcome by Teresa and Mick (with a cup of tea and homemade brownies), lovely room, great shower, awesome garden (with a small zoo and cosy corners, swimming pool), cinema (800 movies), elaborate library, 6-star rated (!!!) breakfast (home beaked bread, garden picked fruit, home made muesli, jam, smoothies, relishes, yoghurt, ...) and every night @...

Mick and Teresa went out of their way to make our Christmas here a memorable one. Our BBQ in their garden was exactly what we had hoped for. The Garden room had everything in that we needed and was lovely to get back to. The cakes and other homemade goodies were a delight. Breakfast was a friendly communal affair made...

Fantastic host! Wonderfully warm and family friendly b&b!! The breakfast and the good stories were just amazing. The house is gorgeous, surrounded by flowers, farm animals, vegetables and fruits from the backyard. The best b&b i have ever stayed in.

Our stay in Mokio Downs Estate was one of our best highlight for our 3 weeks visit to NZ. Mick and Theresa are the perfect hosts, they are very thoughtful and have a incredibly warmth heart. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our 9 years old daughter enjoyed the animal feeding and to our surprise, Mick & Theresa also organize...
