Single night stay in a comfortable cabin with private toilet but shared shower amenities. Super friendly and helpful reception staff who explained all the great things on offer in town and close to the park. Thermal pools were a bonus, along with the pool and beach. Comfy beds, clean cabin and basic kitchenette was just what was needed for a...

Stayed for one night, would have loved to stay longer and try the hangi what we unfortunately missed due to a lack of time. Enjoyed the hot pools and clean facilities and digged our private little hot pool on the beach (very funny). Staff was very friendly and chatty. Would recommend it to everyone. Thank you!

A great location for a reasonable price. My cottage was simple, but it was clean and had everything I needed. It's very quiet, and away from traffic. A short 5 minute walk to the lake is an added bonus. The atmosphere around the pools is lovely! The grounds re very open, with lots of grass and trees. Camping in tents and...

The camp ground is comfortable and has good clean facilities. The management are very helpful and kind. We stayed here for one night last week, however mucked up on our booking and needed to stay one night instead of two due to other plans. The manager was very helpful to our situation, we really appreciated it. Thank you!

We spent 2 nights here. They have 3 giant thermal mineral baths in 3 different heat ranges. Right next to a lake that has geothermal Springs. Dug a hole in the sand next to the lake and sit in a private sand spa. Or dig your feet Into the water where it is bubbling and get a great hot foot...

So disappointing, small park unfriendly staff, although we had booked in advance no question of having our vans together, despite there being empty spaces the whole time next to us (as can be seen from the photo). Their hot pools were just everyday hot tubs and tiny swimming pool, far too small for the size of site! Digging your own...

Hi there reviewer. Sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations In regards to some of your comments, I think that you are confused? 1. Our hot pools are round pools and all natural as shown on our website. 2. Our swimming pool is 11.7 metres long and almost 5 metre wide, which we feel is not...

We spent 2 nights here in our motorhome as part of our tour of N.Z. The site is just about 100m from the Lake Rotorua with its " hot water "beach, where you can dig holes to reach the hot water. The site is very well run and has excellent facilities - all very clean. These include a swimming pool...

I stayed with my family for a couple of nights in a 2 bed home. The camp is clean and well run, the apartment was functional and had everything we needed and the facilities on site included a pool, access to the beach on Lake Rotorua (where you can dig holes with warm water), hot pools on site and a...

We loved the hot water beach and the three hot mineral pools. Our accommodation was ample for us, plus it was bright and modern, and exceptionally clean. The place was very busy, but was well run and organised, so it didn't feel overwhelming. We would definitely stay there again.

It's a comfortable camping ground with all the facilities a family may need. We were in a tent site and everything was close and handy. The stuff is really nice and ready to help at any moment. Maybe the only downside is that some nights there are heaps of lake flies (but they don't bite).

Hi there Francisco S, thanks for the great review. We are happy that you were about to relax and have time out as a family, this is very important. Sorry about the lake flies though, in Rotorua in summer if you are close to a lake its something that can;t be helped. But as you said (they don't bite), just...
