We have been to Rotorua before and stayed at the Sport of Kings motel and it is the best place to stay by far. As Mountain bikers, this stay has perfect location to access the redwoods. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, the Sport of Kings motel has the most welcoming and friendly staff who make your stay unforgettable!

This place was absolutely amazing, firstly the help we were given to find our way around was second to none, absolutely nothing was too much trouble, every thing from booking the restaurant above the cable car, to advising the best golf course! And your own private Jacuzzi / Spa in your room wonderful!!! Would we go back again, you bet...

This motel is in the perfect location for getting around Rotorua easily. The owners are the most welcoming, kind, warm hearted people I've ever met. My fiance booked a few nights here in one of their bigger rooms for our one year anniversary, planning to spend our last night somewhere else but we loved it there so much we cancelled...

The facilities and rooms are big, well kept, clean and modern (sometimes hard to find in New Zealand). The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and happy to help with anything e.g. what is where are how...

Still the same high standards we received on our previous visit. Had a room with a private spa this time and certainly a good choice. Spotless, quiet and relaxing. looking...

This is a great place to stay. Some rooms have private hot tubs which was a great way to relax after a long hike. Other rooms have access to two semi-private hot tubs. There is also a small swimming pool. There are laundry facilities available and free wifi. Parking is too limited and tight and some guests park on the...

The reviews are not wrong. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. On arrival Peter gave the kids a pop quiz on NZ and then awarded them with tikis to hang around their necks. They wore them proudly for the remainder of our holiday. The family suite is terrific. 2 separate bedrooms as well as a separate lounge area. If...
