This is usually not the kind of place we choose on vacation, it was amazing! We stayed in the cottage overlooking the lake. We had lovely views. The cottage had its own kitchen, jacuzzi on the deck, and porch. Every detail was well thought out. By day, it's a lovely place to relax. You can observe sheep, black swans, ducks,...

A truly wonderful place. Everything was perfect for us - the situation, the view, the personal interest shown in us by the staff. And the food is magnificent. I know it is heresy to say this of New Zealand, but I have never been fond of lamb. Well, the chef showed my how wrong I have been! And talking of...

This is a lovely place to discover in Rotorua; we stayed one night if you can afford it, don't hesitate to book the huge villa (4 bedroom), the lake view is wonderful, this house is luxurious and confortable, for me, the best place in Rotorua !

My Mum & Dad both recently turned 90, to celebrate this wonderful milestone birthday we chose Peppers on the Point Rotorua for a small family function. We where greeted in the lovely formal lounge & offered drinks & canapés, then escorted through to a stunning dining area, we were looked after by Matt & Teri who were so warm and...

Our family stayed at Peppers for three nights in the lake villa . The villa is well equipped and offers comfortable rooms with spacious living area , it has mesmerising views out over the bay to the clear blue waters and beyond . A small point however it was very dusty , I don't know why this is but it...

We wish we could have stayed longer. We checked in at 4:30p and left the next morning at 9a (and were gone most of the evening at the Maori Village event). So essentially we slept and showered there. We did walk around the grounds which were lovely. Breakfast was amazing! We stayed in unit 8 which was nice and secluded....

I confess I found Peppers quite a difficult place to review. On the plus side, the hotel is in a wonderful location overlooking Lake Rotorua and very quiet. The grounds and gardens are pretty and well kept. We stayed in room 9 which is a detached cottage in the grounds with lake views. The cottage was clean and comfortable with...

Yes we do sit in a wonderful lakeside position and sadly we get trout flies in the warmer months, we do not get mosquito's as this reviewer has said! :( Our trout flies can swarm but you can be easy about it knowing they don't bite and they are not interested in landing on you. All our guests on welcome...

Disclaimer: I truly hate to leave a not so great review, however I just thought the property would be a tad different and I wish I read a review like I am about to provide... Now it may be viewed differently in my eyes for while in New Zealand, North Island, we stayed at two Relais & Chateaux resorts, Huka...

Thank you for providing your review on your recent stay. We are sorry this was marred by the influx of lake flies. Whilst we enjoy a prime lakeside location with panoramic views on rare occasions lake flies hatch and swarm to light. Lake flies are harmless and have a short life span. Thank you for your comments which we have...
